chapter 2: tough love

they say tough love is ok, but Michael's love is more than tough it's abusive mentally and physically.

Elizabeth could leave him you say in your head. no she can't.

"Elizabeth if you dare place one foot out of this house there will be consequences remember last week", Michael says as his grip on Elizabeth's neck grew tighter.

"ok i shall never leave....", the poor lady said choking back her tears.

Michael let go slowly as Elizabeth caught her air and started breathing quickly.

"stop being dramatic! silly woman!", Michael beamed.

"what happened to what you said when we got married you said you'd protect me from danger and harm!", Elizabeth said still trying to catch air

"SHUT UP I NEVER MEANT ANY OF IT YOU TOOK MY FREEDOM BY FORCING ME TO MARRY YOUR SORRY ASS OK!!!", Michael snapped back without any regret.

"i thought you cared", she tried to fight back the tears "YOU PROMISED ME YOUR HEART IN RETURN FOR MINE", she proceeded to yell 

"DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND I DO NOT LOVE YOU I WANTED FREEDOM NOT MARRIAGE YOUR INSANE IF YOU THINK I'D EVER LOVE A FILTHY PERSON LIKE YOU IF YOU REALLY LOVED ME YOU'D LET ME GO", Michael yelled with full force as he slams the table five times.

"Michael take that back", tears stream down Elizabeth's face "please take that back NOW".

"don't hold your breath", Michael said before leaving the living room then into the bedroom.

Elizabeth falls to the floor with tears running down her face like a water fountain.

"i love him....", she said under her breath "but is all this worth it?.....".
