Arabella's POV"Wake up Grace." I heard William say before shaking me. Rude piece of shit. I thought. "What do you want." I grumbled out, cowering deep in bed. I've been going to the lake for the past two nights straight and going into bed late.
"I want you to get up so that we can go to training." He can not be serious. I poked my head out from under the blankets to look at him. I groaned once I saw his face, he had his serious face on so I might as well get up. "You know its considered cruelty to force injured people to train." I said as I was getting out of bed.
He chuckled and shook his head "Well its a good thing that you are not injured anymore" he said as he walked out my room. I looked at the time and groaned, of was 5 a.m. Someone must truly hate me to subject me to such. I thought before heading to the shower.
I took a 10 minute shower because I know if I take any longer William will lose his shit on me. I wore purple tights, sports bra and black running shoes, it's a good think Stacey and I went shopping a few days ago even if it was longer than necessary. I put my hair in a bun and grabbed my white sweatshirt to keep warm.
I did my bed before heading downstairs for breakfast. "You're late, grab something to eat fast so we can go." Liam said. When he said that it reminded me of when we had to go train with our dad in the woods, he would always have something for me to snack on as we walked to our training spot.
I smiled at him and grabbed a granola bar and an apple. Liam filled me in on today's events which included the pack dinner, the same one that Luna Gwen invited me to. Liam made sure to tell me to be ready for because it was mandatory for me to come for some apparent reason.
Once we arrived at the training grounds Liam told me that I'd be training with the the teenagers so that I could re familiarize myself with training. Its been a close to a decade since I trained so I had no problem with his instructions.
We spent close to 3 hours on the field, everyone else looked like they could go for more whereas I was close to dying there and then. Luckily, training was over for now since the teenagers had to go to school. The school they go to was the pack school which worked around their training schedule and had special classes for juniors.
Liam said I could go home for a while, so I went to the lake. I spent my free time there just meditating until I heard someone come by. It was the Gamma, Dean. We only met briefly, he seemed like a sweet person. "Ow sorry, I didn't realize that someone was here." He said as his eyes landed on me.
Ever since I found the lake, I've been able to cover up my scent again. "Yeah, that's probably the water." I lied. I got up to leave "Umm...I'll just get going." I said. " You don't have to leave on my account, you know." He said with a soft chuckle.
"I'm not,I'm just giving you privacy. It looks like you need it." I said, his eyes looked down. "Is it that obvious?" He asked in a gentle voice. "No, but your eyes said it." I answered him truthfully before walking away.
I turned back to see him lie on the grass, I sighed because the witch in me could not leave him like that. I headed back to him and lied next to him. He turned his face to look at me. "I thought you were going to give me privacy?" He asked.
"I was but it seemed like that would not do you any good." I simply said. He faced the sky again and we watched the clouds pass by before either one of us said anything. "What's got you down, Gamma Dean?" I asked hoping to get a laugh out of him.
