I was on my porch. Only 2 minutes until the new year. Yay! Yay for sarcasm i mean. I looked at the ground. The snow was white and fluffy. New fallen. Actually I was still falling but i didn't mind. I wasn't wearing a jacket actually I was wearing nothing more than a tang top and some pj shorts.
"Hey arn't you cold?"Ethan asked as he sat next to me.
"Me? No! I-I'm fine." I said through chattiring teeth. I felt something warm wrapped around my shoulders. I noticed it was Ethan's jacket. I felt my face get warm.
"Do you now what people do at midnight of the new year?"Ethan asked. Honestly I didn't. I shook my head no. He seemed to smile.
"What do they do?"I questioned.
"You'll see."
"Please tell me!" I put one of my hands over his. His hands were warm. He shook his head and grabbed his phone out of his pocket.
"30 seconds. You exited?"
"Well I'm looking forward to seeing what people do at midnight." Then I though. "I'm not having sex with you." I said I didn't know what I was saying.
"No Its not like that." He checked his phone again. I looked over 10 seconds. He stood up and put his phone in his back pocket. I stood up to.
"Where are you going?" I asked. He shook his head. The was only a beep then It happened. He put his arms around my waist and pulled me as close as I could passably be to him. The he smashed his lips against mine. My arms slithered around his neck. I his lips were warm and soft. It was great. I was what I'd aways dreamed my first kiss would be like.
He pulled back."I love you, Lyra." I smiled and kissed him again. I pulled back and our foreheads touched.
"I love you too, Silver." I quickly put my hand over my mouth. But It was to late he herd. He grabbed his jacket from off of me and started to walk away in the snow. I felt tears fall from my eyes. What had I done. I may have just messed up the best thing that ever happened to me.
