Chapter 19

I quickly grabbed my things from the pokemon center. Then I began to walk to the beach. Ethan still seemed to be standing in the exact same spot were I had yelled at him. I was trying hard not to cry. I wasn't going to waste any tears on him. when I got to the beach Silver seemed to he leaving, and seeing it was 9:37 I didn't blame him.

I walked over to him and gave him a hug, he seemed startled but then calmed down probably noticing it was me. "Hi." I mumbled.

He didn't respond but looked at me with a rock hard expression, that he wore so well. "Mmmm-hmmm" Although he didn't seem to enjoy the hug he didn't push me away. After awhile I pulled back and looked at him.

I sighed a bit looking where there was a faint S+L in the sand. Had I not erased it earlier? Then I heard a snicker and looked over at Silver, who eyes were on the same thing mine were on. "I didn't write that!" I freaked out, my face flushing red.

"Whatever." He said flatly and started to dig through his bag. I was curious to what he was doing and after a minute he pulled out a stuffed Pikachu. He held it out to me. "Happy birthday." He said in the same tone, not looking at me.

"T-thanks but you really shouldn't have got me anything." I replied pushing the Pikachu back towards him. He gave me a look and shoved the plushy in my hands. of coarse I loved the gift, I just didn't expect it from Silver..... "I kinda got into a fight with Ethan... He's being a real ugh right now... Can I travel with you, Snivi?"

"What he do?" He asked with concern. Then his facial expression got hard again. "And don't call my that!"

I laughed and pulled out a pokeball, letting out my Lapras into the water. "Does someone care?" I asked. Nearly forgetting about Ethan. Silver rolled his eyes and sighed. and climbed on lapras. Silver climbed on too. 'this should be interesting..' I though as we left shore.
