After I picked up my suitcase and said goodbye to Doc. Cunningham I went and saw a white sign it had on the front of it in big black letters. "Spencer Phelps." I walked towards it and the guy holding it was short he had black slicked back hair and wore a black suit he then looked in my direction as he saw me coming towards him.
"Are you Spencer Phelps." The Guy said while looking me up and down like he was impressed.
"Yep." I said trying to make his face look at mine.
The man grabbed my bag and placed it in the trunk then he opened the back seat of the car door for me and I stepped inside the silver camery. The seats were leather and it had a lot of leg room, the men then went to the drivers seat and started to drive me to my apartment.
We drove past many tiny shops and then before I new it we were passing New Port beach and nearing my apartment. I was so excited I did not have to share I am an only child so it will be easier for me to adjust to it. When we got to the front of the grand apartment doors the man helped me out and grabbed my suitcase out of the trunk he then waved goodbye to me and back into his car. I went through the big wooden doors and went straight to the front desk, when I got closer to it I saw this little wrinkly but very suntanned old lady. When I got there I ringed the little bell on the desk because I tried to get her attention I waved my hands back and fourth and every time I tried to talk to her she would just put her index finger up and hush me. After I clicked the bell the lady finally looked up at me with a very scary annoyed look on her face.
"Can I help you ?" The lady asked with a hard voice.
"Yes umm can I get the key card for my room?" I tried to say in a not so scared voice.
"What is your name?" the lady said trying to talk in a calmer voice.
"Spencer Phelps." I said in a squeaky voice.
She typed something in the computer and then grabbed a gold key card from a little printer thing.
"Your the top floor room 540 an ocean view, is that a right?" The lady said in a nicer voice.
"Yes." I said in a not so scared voice.
The lady gave me the card and a warm smile she lifted her hand up and pointed her finger to the elevator and I grabbed my bags and went straight to the brown vintage looking elevator doors. I clicked the gold button that had the number twelve on it and went inside it took about 4 minutes until I finally got to the top.
The doors opened to the floor and I walked down the sandy brown hallway it had pictures of the ocean all over the walls. When I got to my door it was a little weathered looking and it had a silver doorknob, it was a little bumpy from years of people opening and closing it. I opened it up and went inside the room was pretty small but big for me. It had a queen sized bed and a flat screen hanging on the wall the walls were a sandy brown color which complimented the white silky curtains. I had many pictures of waves and beach's which made me feel more relaxed with my surroundings.
I opened a large white door that led to the bathroom it was pretty big it had cream colored walls and had a big shower and bathtub. The counter was big and it had different assortments of soaps shampoo and conditioners, also it had gray tile and brown rugs.I walked back out of the bathroom and stood just inches away from where my bed sat, on the queen sized bed the comforter was silk white and had feather pillows the white made it more comfortable and appealing to the eye.
Under my window that was fairly big for a apartment sat a light brown desk and tucked into the under lip of the desk sat a black swivel chair, next to my bed was black nightstand and a sand brown lamp. It had a small little kitchen but it worked out for me because it had a dishwasher, it was a metallic color so it made the kitchen look quiet stunning. The counter in the middle of the kitchen was a marble with black wood under it so it would be held up, the black brought out the black grains of the marble. But the kitchen had the same sandy brown walls and all the cupboards were black, many of the appliances had the same metallic color as the dish washer did and the drawers matched the cabinets.
