"Alright. This one is a weird one."
"Define weird." Everyone asked for Hatsume to point out.
"Midoriya's the son of the worlds greatest swordsman. A man by the name of Dracule Hawkeye Mihawk. As such, he went down a kinda unique path."
"In simple terms?" Bakugou questioned for Hatsume to point out.
"He became a swordsman. Also a pretty strong one at that. Japan's greatest swordsman at a pretty young age. He also is looking to defeat his father and take his mantle in this." Hatsume started the universe for everyone to see Izuku at the age of 5 sitting in a doctors office.
"Sorry kid, but your not getting a quirk." Izuku froze as the doctor said this.
"I don't understand doctor, why can't he?" The doctor puts an X-ray of a foot up and starts saying why.
"You see, when a quirk manifests, there normally is an alteration in the pinky toe here where there is an absence or addition of one joint. This points out individuality in the way of speaking and normally indicates a quirk. However, you can clearly see that your son has a second joint in his pinky, so it's safe to say he will not get a quirk." The small boy felt his world crumble at this. All Izuku wanted was to be a strong hero so his father can notice him and his mother to come back home. All he wanted was this alone. He was about to cry, but couldn't. All he could do is just sit there motionless as all the hopes the boy could have were gone.
"That is always difficult for anyone to hear." Dabi spoke up kinda feeling empathy for Izuku knowing how this is. The scene then changed to that of a house in the evening.
When it was close to Izuku's bedtime, Inko came into his room to see her son watch a man slice a ship in two with a large sword. "Izuku sweetie, it's almost time for bed." He couldn't turn to her, but only cried as he heard the man say something to the villains.
"You truly thought this fleet was enough to invade, how foolish. Power will only adhere to power and ignore the weak. You all were a waste of my time."
"...Mom, does dad never come home because he thinks were weak?" She didn't say anything as Izuku sees her reflection with her crying as an answer. "I don't care if I'm quirkless mom. I'm going to become a person dad will have to acknowledge. *sniffle* I'll be the only thing I can be that he will see as someone he can't ignore." The young boy started to cry as he shouts his resolve. "I'm gonna become the greatest swordsman in the world and beat dad! He has to notice us if I do that right!?"
Inko hugged her son as her tears fell on him. "If you want to, then we'll see what we can do. I'm sorry that this happened Izuku. I'm so sorry." As Izuku cried, he clenched his fist in anger knowing his life would become hard going forward.
"Dang. That's gotta be tough on Midoribro. Not only does his father not come home, but he also has to deal with being quirkless?"
"Trust me, this isn't the hardest thing on Midoriya in this universe." Hatsume fast forwarded the universe a bit to show Izuku about 15 years in the future on the first day of UA. "I should probably also mention that this has UA as a college instead of a high school."
Everyone of class A had found their way out to the training field with the members of class B being beside them.
"Izuku!" Itsuka ran over to Izuku to hug him with some blond from class B getting a little agitated.
"Uhhh-"
"You, Midoriya, Bakugou and Uraraka are childhood friends. Also, almost all of you go to a dojo together. Take a wild guess who doesn't." Everyone turned to Bakugou who merely flips them all off.
