RWBY: The Vermillion Knight

Chapter 8: First Contact - Part 2

I was about to fulfill my goal, but Zure crushed this plan as he attacked me with much greater force sending me several meters away. I didn't took damage as I was able to block it with my sword. 

My anger about that was filling me, he always does this just to mock me!

Zure: "You are trying to get my Aura down to 80, right?"

What!? How was he able to find that out.

Zure: "You always make a mark as a goal, but this time I won't let you reach this! How about you surpass this time! Show me what you got!"

He then began to charge his ax with lighting. The yellow bolts around his ax and the determination in his voice... oh no, I know what he will do!

Zure runs at me before jumping high in the air.

Zure: "Golden Spark!"

He came down with his ax, but I was able to hold against it with my sword but the lightings still kept hitting me. I felt myself getting weaker and him taking over. He was too strong...

I kneed on the ground panting heavily and Zure in front of me.

Zure: "Huh, still not over?"

I was confused at this and looked at the screen. My Aura was at 23.7% only a few percentages above the mark of getting counted as defeated, while his Aura was at 80.2%. I... I tanked his Golden Spark!?

Zure: "Well, you reached something lil bro, but your goal is still out of reach."

He laughed at this... laughed at... me.

???: "CRUSH THIS INSECT!"

I looked at my brother standing with his back to me and looking at the spectators.

Goodwitch: "Mr. Zure Vermilion is the-"

She got then cut off by me when I began to stand up, my sword in a firm grip. I charged my sword and saw the icy aura around my sword. I then slashed at Zure with my Ice-Storm Tornado like have done it with the Ursa, back in the Forest of Forever Fall. The first few blows have hit Zure but he was able to block the last few but my ending strike pushed him a few feet back. This was everything I could do before I could feel my movement slowing down as the drawback of my ability began to freeze my body. Before I left my combat stance I looked first at Zure who looked utterly shocked at me and then at the screen to see that I depleted his Aura to 71.2%!

Goodwitch: "Uhm, seems like we have a draw."

Now that puts a smile on my face.

Goodwitch: "Student's this was everything for today. Class dismissed."

As she said this every student began to exit the classroom/arena. I then got a message on my scroll which informed me that one of the supermarkets in Vale started a special campaign because of the Vytal Festival and they are now selling their products with a good discount and it starts in 3 hours! I have to go to the city and camp in front of the market! But when I wanted to leave Zure stopped me by putting his hand on my shoulder.

Zure: "Please wait a moment, Eclipse."

I turned to him and removed his hand from my shoulder.

"What is it, I'm in hurry."

Zure: "Your last attack... Your eyes they..."

"What's with my eyes?"

Zure:" They... glowed but not this natural glow. Is everything alright with you?"
