Holding Harley to my chest, I watched as the boys pulled in on their motorcycles. Once Happy made eye contact, he sprinted to me. In my arms, the little bundle started squirming, wanting to see the man that was his father. I pulled his hood down and watched as Happy lifted him in his arms.
In the corner of my eye, I saw Abel and the twins come out with Tara holding Thomas.
"Daddy!" They all screamed simultaneously. It warmed my heart being able to call someone daddy without fear. Gemma walked up to me with Clay holding his arm around her shoulder.
"Since your girls are calling him daddy, I assume he's made you his girl?" I tilted my head, not quite knowing what she meant. "What's that mean?"
"It means you get his crow. His name on your body? That's what becoming an old lady is like." I tossed that around in my mind as she walked away. I definitely would be talking to him about this.

"Goodnight darlings." I gave each Fey and Cary a kiss before tucking them in for bed.
Closing the door softly behind me, I paused as I heard Happy talking behind Harley's door. The door was slightly ajar, so I peeked my head in and listened to Happy interacting with his firstborn.
"I really love you, little man. You, your sisters, and your mommy, I love you all. So much. Never would I thought that I would have such a beautiful child." My hand covered my mouth in shock. Happy was being so gentle that it made me realize that we.... we were a family and I could not let that slip away.
