I sat on the sofa with Gemma, Jacksons mother, watching my little girls run around with Abel. They all got along together so great, it ALMOST made me want another.
It had been a couple weeks since I decided to move me and the twins to Charming. And they really liked it. I work at a daycare where Fey and Cary come after school and stay with me until closing. Tara brings Abel and Thomas there when she and Jax have to work. I've also gotten to know Happy.
Speaking of the devil, he walked in the door with the other members.
"Daddy!" Abel yelled and ran to Jax, where he lifted him and started kissing him all over. I noticed my girls look at Happy like... I can't even describe it.
It was later in the day and I had just put Fey and Cary down for bed. A knock sounded on my door and I jumped, not expecting someone to be here this late. I swung the door open as Happy raised his fist to knock again. Startled, I almost dropped the coffee mug I was holding.
Not saying anything, he grabbed the back of my head and crashed his mouth to mine. His lips were much softer than I imagined and that made me feel a spark that I thought was dead.
$Next Day$
"Mommy! Mommy! Wake up! Happy's making breakfast!" I sat up right as my girls jumped on my bed, making the blanket fluff up. Smiling, I pulled them to me and brushed their hair, putting them both in braids.
