Clutching my skin over my heart, I gasped in immense pain. It felt like my chest was concaving. Quickly I dug through my purse on the counter for my phone. I needed to call Gemma, immediately.
"Gemma? Please, it hurts, I need help. Just please get here soon." My voice trailed off as I collapsed to the floor, not feeling anything.
¥ Gemma ¥
Gasping, I ran out of Jax's kitchen to receive a concerned looked from Jax and Tara.
"Mom? What's wrong?" Shaking my head I tried to get out the door but he held me in place.
"Jax let go. Lisa's in trouble. She just called saying to get over there as soon as I could." He let go and followed me as I ran to my car.
Slamming open the front door, I heard Harley screaming in his room. Jax went upstairs while I went to the kitchen. My heart broke as I screamed for Tara. She came running but stopped sharp at the sight of Lisa laying face down on the ground.

I paced as I waited for Tara to tell me something about Lisa. That girl was like the daughter I never had. A few minutes later Tara bustled through the swinging double doors leading to surgery. Jax and I gathered around her as she looked over a file, getting paler as she looked.
"Um, Gemma, I have her birth certificate here, and, did you know she was adopted?" My eyes widened as I shook my head. Did Lisa even know she was adopted?
"If she was adopted then who's her real parents?" Tara's eyes dropped a little before she lifted a paper to our faces. On the mothers name it said, Gemma Teller. Father said John Teller.
"Holy shit."
¥ Lisa ¥
Beeping woke me up. Then I realized there was a sticky pad on my chest above my heart. It was measuring my beats. The door opened and I saw Gemma, Jax, and Tara walk in. I smiled at them as they got semi comfortable.
"Baby, did... did your parents ever show you pictures of when your mother was pregnant?" Her question threw me off guard.
"No. Why? What's wrong, Gemma?" She sighed before coming to sit next to me on the small bed. "Baby, you were adopted."
My heart dropped, then tears filled my eyes. "Thank god." I whispered. But they all heard it.
"What do you mean?" Looking at her I felt it was time they knew the truth about me.
"My dad abused me. That's how I met Bryan. One night my mom was so high that she passed out and my dad was piss faced drunk. He r-raped me. Then kicked me out." She wrapped her arms around me and held me while I sobbed.
"What if I told you.... I know who your real mom is?" Frantically nodding my head, she sighed before continuing.
"On your birth certificate," Tara handed her a slip of paper," It says that I'm your mother. And John Teller is your father." A gasp ripped through my body. Fresh tears spilled down my cheeks and Gem- mom, was there to catch them.
