(A/N) Finally got down to write the next chapter, it's a long one (for me)

The angel slowly opens her eyes, but closes them soon after. It makes no difference. The darkness that surrounds her is too dense, it seems like there is absolutely no light to be found anywhere. There is nothing to see and no one to hear. That is, until suddenly the angel hears the soft flapping of wings. Not just one pair, but what seems like at least five. A moment later, fire starts burning all around her, making the darkness vanish. The angel blinks a few times, trying to adjust to the bright light. Eventually, she is able to see her surroundings. It looks like she is in a cave, the rigid stone walls light up red as the fire burns below them. From behind her, she hears a soft giggle, making her turn around to look who is there. The angel is met with a pair of black and somehow glowing eyes. Two more pairs of these eyes show up next to the first one.

The angel starts to get scared. What if they want to hurt her? What if they are here to bite her, turning her into whatever they may be? Or worse, what if they take her wings? She is abruptly pulled away from her worrying when she hears loud footsteps coming towards her. The glowing eyes that were staring at her almost immediately disappear. As the footsteps get closer, the fire seems to fade out, until there is just one single flame burning, solely lighting up the spot where the angel stands. 'Who is there?', she asks in a small voice. There is no answer, so she decides to ask again, but this time a bit louder. 'Who are you?', she says, this time sounding more angry than scared. As she turns around, she is met with a pair of light purple eyes. A low, raspy, but strangely comforting voice answers: 'I am your worst nightmare'. In a boost of confidence, the angel responds: 'I asked who are you, not what are you'. The creature in front of her chuckles softly, and steps forwards into the light. 'Oh this one is feisty, I like that', the creature says, their lips sporting a sleek smile. The angel's mouth drops open and all the fear she had suddenly leaves her body. In front of her stands the most beautiful demon she has ever seen (she has only seen one demon before, but the stories she heard in heaven were pretty graphic and none of them contained such a beautiful creature as this one). The demon's long, dark hair beautifully frames their pale face. Some strands of hair hang in front of their face, but most of them are tucked nicely behind their pointed ears. On top of their head stand not two, but four pointy horns, the ones further back a lot smaller than the two large ones near their hairline. On their back stand two large, leathery looking wings with horns on their highest point, that curve smoothly around their broad shoulders. Their black clothing sits tight against their skin, showing off the hourglass shape of this devils body. Their eyes, completely black with the exception of the light purple irises, bore into the eyes of the angel.

The demon continues talking: 'Such a pretty thing should not be down here all alone, dangerous things happen here'. The angel swallows thickly, still shocked by the beauty of the demon, but mostly unsure of what to say to them. 'What is you name darling?', the demon asks, not only sounding but also looking smug, with a small smirk on their dark coloured lips. 'M-my name i-is R-rosie', the angel, now known as Rosie, stutters. 'Rosie, what a beautiful name for a beautiful angel like yourself', the demon chuckled. 'T-thank you, w-what is yours?', Rosie asks, her stutter fading slowly. The creature in front of her laughs, throwing their head back, as their face seems to light up their surroundings. 'I go by many names darling, no one calls me by my real one. But, for you I'll make an exception. You can call me Dormana', the demon answers after they finish laughing. 'Now, I imagine you know where you are already, don't you small one?', Dormana continues, while carefully grabbing hold of Rosies face, holding it in place so the poor angel has no choice but to look at the intimidating creature standing in front of her. 'I-I'm afraid not.', Rosie replies, casting her eyes down in shame. Dormana laughs quietly. 'Don't be ashamed small one, there's no need for that. But it's a good thing I found you here, the others would have torn you to shreds.', the demon says smiling and boops the young angels nose. Dormana slowly continues: 'But I'm sure you have figured out by now that there is no simple way for you to go back up there, so whilst you're stuck here, I'll teach you the ways of a demon in this lovely place I call home: Hell.'
