When Lyra was awake she felt an terrible burning in her left arm. She cried out because what else was she supposed to do. Madam Pomfrey didn't come though. Severus Snape did. He looked at her arm and looked down sadly.
"It's okay." Snape said sitting down. "The pain will pass."
"I-It still hurts." Lyra said with tears in her eyes.
"Here. Drink." Snape said handing Lyra some tea. She drank it and she relaxed.
When Lyra got out of the Hospital wing there were many people coming back from a Quidditch game. It looked like Gryffindor won and Lyra tried looking for Ginny. She hadn't seen her since before she got cursed by Potter. Well she stepping in front of the curse rather than he aimed a curse at her.
"LYRA!" Ginny yelled over the people and Lyra saw her run towards her before being pulled into a hug. Lyra smiled at this and wrapped her arms around Ginny. A couple people frowned at the Gryffindor and Slytherin hugging. Especially if it was a Weasley and a Malfoy.
"Hey Ginny." Lyra said laughing. "How was the game? I think I missed it."
"You did but it's okay. You were too busy being cursed and all." Ginny said pulling away from the hug. They were both felt cold at the lack of touch but pushed that feeling away. "There's a party going on."
"Thats what happens after a game usually." Lyra commented and Ginny rolled her eyes.
"Want to join?" Ginny asked and Lyra looked thoughtful.
"That sounds fun." Lyra said nodding. She never really cared about what she was supposed to do when it came down to what people thought. Especially when it came to Ginny Weasley.
"Great. Come on." Ginny said lacing her fingers with Lyra's and they walked up to Gryffindor tower.
Once there Ginny gave the password and the Fat Lady looked too drunk to care who was going in. Once inside there was music blaring and people celebrating. Lyra just smiled around at the common room. She still loved the Slytherin common room better but this was still nice. There were no magical creatures, and everything was red but it was still nice.
"How do you like the Gryffindor common room?" Ginny asked as she downed a mug of butterbeer.
"Not as good as the Slytherin common room." Lyra said smirking and Ginny laughed.
"Oh look at that!" Ginny said pointing to the middle of the room where Ron and Lavender Brown were snogging. "Bloody hypocryte!"
"Why is that?" Lyra asked and Ginny went on to explain what happened when Ron and Harry caught her snogging Dean. Lyra couldn't help but feel a little jealous at this as she kept a smile on.
"He tried calling me a slut." Ginny said and Lyra gasped.
"That bloody-" Lyra started walking towards Ron but Ginny held her back. "I could have beat him up for you though."
"Don't worry though. I can take care of myself." Ginny said smiling at Lyra who nodded.
"True. Doesn't mean you have too." Lyra said and Ginny blushed.
That night was pretty fun for Lyra. A couple idiot Gryffindors told her to scram for being a Slytherin, but shut up when Ginny told them off. Harry walked over to them and apologized for cursing Lyra, and she said it was her fault for getting in the way but also said if he was to curse her brother that Harry would die of unatural causes. The night ended in Ginny and Lyra singing terrible songs on the coffee table and leaning on each other. It was a pretty fun night to have. Lyra couldn't have asked for more.
