Zac;

I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned around to see Charlie, she looked unsure. I grabbed her hand and brought it to my chest. I could feel the heat radiating from her skin and the pulse of her heart beat pumping in her wrist. If only time could stop, to keep us in this moment for eternity. She's so beautiful and she loves me. Even more, she needs me just as much as I need her.

And there is no way I am going to get through this day without losing it because today is the day I have to go meet up with my horrid management. They want me to agree to fake a relationship with Jenna. How could I possibly go through with that? Who in their right mind would think I would agree? Well they can have their hopes, but nothing else.

Charlie needs me right now, more than ever, and I'd be damned if I let them take her from me. Her nightmares will not come true, I'm going to fix her and be there for her. She shouldn't be afraid.

I'm determined to get them over this idea Jenna has shoved into their heads. I'll prove to them that my fans love Charlie and they should already know that I refuse to lie to my fans. This will work, and if it doesn't, I'm willing to quit. I'd quit it all in a second for Charlie. I'd do anything for her.

I pulled her hand up to my lips and placed a kiss on the back of it, she smiled lovingly at me. Guiding her into the conference room, we sat in two of the chairs there. The management crew piled in after us and set up everything quickly. I looked over at Charlie and she looked at me. And that's how we stayed the whole conference, staring into each others eyes.

Snapped out of our trance, I glanced up to see that everyone had their eyes on us. I cleared my throat, "Do you need something?" I asked, wearily.

"Yeah, I need you to pay attention." Henry snapped at me. I nodded and listened, but they were just laying a bunch of crap on the table. I wasn't going to go through with the faux relationship, so why were they so persistent?

I pulled out my phone, still shattered, and logged onto Twitter. I read aloud, "This person tweeted, 'IDK if it's Chac or Zarlie, but no matter what it is getting shipped.' And another replied, 'Zarlie for sure, they are the cutest." I glanced over to see Charlie blushing and smiling, I looked at Henry and said, "I don't need more publicity or anyone's approval of my relationship with Charlie, but it seems everyone already does approve, except for you. I love Charlie, Henry. Why can't you accept that?" Henry just stood there, dumbfounded. I rose to my feet and pulled Charlie along with me out the door.

I was so far out from reality that I hadn't realized I was still pulling Charlie along until she yanked her hand out of my grip. "Woah Zac. It's going to be alright." She gasped out as she rubbed her hand. "I'm sorry, Charlie. I didn't realize I was holding you too tight." I said apologetically.

"Let's just go home, okay?" She suggested with a hint of concern. I nodded and she drove us home. When we walked through the door, I sat down on the couch and closed my eyes with my head leaned back against the cushion. I felt the couch dip beside me, Charlie's fragrance filled my senses when she came closer to my side. I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her into me. She whispered in my ear that everything would be okay one last time before I fell asleep.
