Zac's POV

I never knew that I could love someone as much as I've come to love Charlie. Every day I fall more and more in love with her, and it's so overwhelming in the best way possible.

We've only been reunited for a week, and it's like we haven't been apart for years.

My phone starts to go off on the dresser, making me get out of bed and leave Charlie's side. I reached my phone and read the caller I.D. which displayed that my manager was calling once again. He has called me a hundred times every day that I've been back home. And it's really flippin annoying.

I know he just wants to know my whereabouts and if I'm okay, but I don't want them to know. I don't want them to try and get me to come back.

I decline the call with a huff and hear Charlie chuckle, "what's so funny, missy? hmm?"

"You, drama queen. Just answer him back and then he will leave you alone-..." she stops what she's saying when she sees me shaking my head 'no' wildly. "... or maybe not?" She says, questioningly with a shrug.

"Nope. I can't answer his calls because he'll make me leave you, and I won't do that, I can't bring myself to do that ever again."

"Alright, alright. Just relax." she says, soothingly while hugging me. I wrap my arms around her waist and lean my head against hers. I take a deep breath in, letting her scent overpower my thoughts. "I'll go make us some pancakes." She releases me and heads into the kitchen, while I stay standing in the bedroom, watching my phone like it's going to attack me at any second.

Maybe she's right. I should just answer and tell him what went down. He'll understand, right? Heading towards the exit of the bedroom, I glance back at my phone and grab it. I walk in the direction of the kitchen with the device in my pocket.

As I walk in, the familiarity of my surroundings rushes to me reminding me of more memories I've shared with my love. I peek over her shoulder to see the pancake batter sizzling in the pan. I wrap my arms around her waist and wait with her.

"What do you want to do today?" She asks, knowing as well as I, that we still are not going to be capable of separating ways. "Anything, darling." I responded with a small smile.

"I have to go to the store to get some food today. We are running out of like..everything." I chuckled at her comment and agreed to going with her.
Once she finished cooking, we ate in silence. The only sounds emitted were those of forks scraping against the plates. I gathered the dirty dishes and began to clean them in the sink.

"Was it you?" she asked all of a sudden from where she sat at the table. I turned to face her with a look of utter confusion. She quickly added, "Were you the one who always paid off the bills? Every time I asked about it, they'd always say it's already been paid for, but left it to the anonymous."

I looked down at my feet, and she rose from her seat, already having her answer. "Who else could it have been?" I laughed nervously as she got closer. She stopped right in front of me, and we gazed into each other's eyes. As if on cue, we both hugged one another tightly, she leant back to place a kiss to my forehead, nose, cheeks, chin and the corner of my mouth. Finally, our lips met in a fiery passion. The kiss grew heated, and I held her close. Having her lips on mine once again was a dream come true. I slowly pulled away, our foreheads still resting together, brushing some of her hair out of her face I started to smile down at her. Earning a smile back from her. As we both started to lean in again, my phone rang out. I sighed as she dug my phone out of my pocket and handed it to me, "answer it."

"...fine" I pouted, flipping open my phone and holding it up to my ear with the arm that wasn't wrapped around Charlie. "Hello?" I asked into the phone.

"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!?!?!?" I winced holding the phone slightly away from me. Charlie got out of my grasp and left me alone with talking on the phone. "Umm... Er well we both know I wouldn't be able to stay away any longer..." I tried to reason.

"Zachary, are you back with her?" My manager, Henry asked, his voice laced with a tone I couldn't put my finger on. "Yesss." I said happily, content filling my whole being. My joy disappeared when I heard the next words he spat out of his mouth in annoyance. "Well you can't be with her."
