If A.I Afton lived then he'd be able to help Bryan fix the animatronics and Bryan wouldn't be left to fix the mess that happens when the animatronics need fixing. A.I Afton would probably also see through Evil Bryan's disguise much earlier then the others but be threatened to stay quiet.
