What if Rain was killed/ injured during the bank heist?

(there are spoilers to My Hero Origins even though the storyline has been changed by me. You have been warned.)

Rain crept up behind Database. The lights weren't on in the bank as Rain's quirk had knocked them out. Once Rain had gotten close, he readied his knife to stab Database when he heard a loud BANG! and felt a sudden pain in his stomach. Database had seen him and had shot Rain in the stomach in surprise. "OH NO!! LET ME HELP YOU!!" Database yelled as he began to bandage Rain's stomach. Rain blacked out and his hearing stopped. When Rain woke up, he was in a bed at Monarch Academy with Venus healing him and making sure he wasn't going to die. "Stay right there. You're not well enough to be released yet." Ronin said as Rain looked around. "Maybe he's right..." Rain thought as he laid back down.
