Nala
Torra laid, breathing shallow and labored. "Shit shit shit shit SHIT!" I yelled, not able to produce anything more advanced. "Some get a doctor dammit!" I yelled, Draya and Allie running out the door. I could feel something inside me slowly fade to nothing, watching life escape Torra with every labored breath.
"Back up." Andi coaxed. Andi gently hugged me form behind, nudging her head on mine. Erica stepped next to Torra, straddling his waist. Erica immediately saw how sketchy she looked. "A thing I learned a few years back." She said, folding her hands and pushing it deep into his chest over and over aggressively.
"What is she-" I began, wanting to stop Erica. What she was doing would kill him.
"It's alright. I've seen this work before." Andi assured.
"In your exciting lifetime? We lived in a Bunker for most of-" I began but Erica interrupted, sweat on her forehead.
"Nala, when I-says so- pinch his- nose shut- and breath- into his- mouth" Erica finished. "Three- two- one- now. Hold, Now." Erica instructed. I obediently pinched Torra's nose, breathing into his mouth twice. Draya and Allie dragged a team of nurses through the throne room only for Torra to resume life. His eyes slowly opened, his breathing becoming more natural. Relief consumed me, Torra living as more than enough for me.
"What..did...you...eat...last?" Torra joked.
"Dick." Draya mumbled.
I couldn't help but laugh, many people following pursuit. "What the hell are you going to do with these bodies?" Andi dragged on.
"We are going to shove it up Napoli's ass." I remarked, many people nodded at my plan to retaliate against Napoli with lethal force. I stood up, Torra trying to follow. "No. Infirmary with this one." I ordered to the nurses, they agreed, one leaving for a stretcher. I filed through each body, hoping for someone to live, pressing into their necks searching for a pulse. Not a single body showed any sign of life, which was extremely disturbing. Napoli was able to get inside of Lanca, kill an entire shift of compound employees, and leave without being caught.
"We leave tomorrow morning." I announced.
"You couldn't possibly think that's a good idea? Not a single alliance has come to join forces." Lyza reminded. "Lanca couldn't stand up to Napoli forces."
"Napoli will stand to Lanca forces. We make the first move before they can tell what's what." I commanded. "Message military generals and gather warriors. I want a full-blown battle."
"This isn't a go big or go home sort of thing." Lyza commented.
"This is a go huge or die." I stated, almost yelling. I had become rude and she listened, not daring to continue on against me. "Find Bowie and Liam. Now." I yelled before jogging out of the throne room. I flagged down two guards. "Shut down the walls. Double up on attendants. No one leaves alone." I yelled at a dark skinned man and an olive toned woman. They ran to other guards, spreading the message.
I ran back into the throne room, Sasha and Andi looking at me frantic. "What are you doing?" Andi asked.
"Running this damned town." I said before snatching up the velvet vest thing and grabbing a crown. I slipped it on quickly, Sasha and Andi following me. Erica and Draya had found Bowie and Liam, now six people following me to the town. "How do we get their attention?" I asked Bowie.
Bowie pulled a horn from his belt loop, bringing it to his mouth and letting out a deep frequency, catching everyone's attention. Crowds clumped together and paid plenty of attention t me now.
