Andi"Andi! You can' make a decision like that on your own! We're a team. It has to be collective... unanimous!" Nala yelled. She snatched Torra's cloak off his back and put it over mine. I was still terrified from the clearing, my pale skin and shaking evident.
"It's our only option. We can't go south. Torra knows. At least now we have shelter." I advised.
"We could have gone west! Or east! The Sandwalkers would have accepted two more warriors who made it out of Napoli's strongest facility! This is not a good idea." Nala complained.
"Lover's quarrel? Torra interjected.
"Quarrel, but far from lovers, perhaps not even friends." Nala splintered from the group and into the forest.
"Is she alright?" Rimona asked.
"She's fine." Torra assured. "Just let her kill a rabbit, maybe a busty fox. She will be back." Torra scoffed.
"Don't you dare say that about Nala! She is brilliant! She carved directions through a faulty ventilation system so she could be up here!" I ranted.
"Calm down blondie." Torra scoffed. I stomped towards Torra and pulled his hair. I pushed his head down and knees him in the stomach, a trick Nala taught me about. I shoved Torra forward, something somewhat difficult considering he was a foot taller than me and had the muscle mass of a large buffalo.
I ran after Nala, Torra's stupid cloak slowing me down. I dropped it passing a large spit of bushes, the same red berries Nala told me not to eat. I continued running after Nala.
Nala was standing in the middle of another river. She had her head wrapped in something, probably her shirt. She had make-shift spear poised, preparing to kill something. Nala threw her spear, immediately killing a rabbit.
"Torra was right." I laughed.
"Shit!" Nala yelled. "Do not scare me like that." Na advised. She swam across the river and retrieved the rabbit. Nala walked out of the water. She unwrapped her head and bundled the rabbit corpse. Nala crossed the river back to me. "Can you start a fire? I need to butcher the rabbit." Nala said.
"You need to put a shirt on." I told Nala. It was the middle of the night in a forest we don't know and she was topless.
"Do you have a shirt that isn't soaked in rabbit blood? I may be the devil in disguise but I am not an animal." Nala said.
"You killed the rabbit!" Torra appeared and joked. Nala threw a knife at him. Torra ducked, the knife nailing into the tree.
"What the fuck?" Torra shouted.
"You scared me." Nala said plainly. She turned back to the rabbit and continued cutting it up.
"That, but, um..." Torra seemed to be yelling more at Nala's lack of shirt. "Where's your shirt?" Torra plainly asked.
"Waiting to be cleaned and dryed." Nala answered. "You are more than welcome to go down to the river and rinse it." Nala offered.
"What the hell happened here?" Rimona asked. It was an odd scene. I was working on a fire, Torra was eyeing Nala, who was cutting open a rabbit topless. Rimona ran over to Nala and immediately shielded her from Torra. "Discreet much perv?" Rimona scolded Torra. Nala's eyes went wide. Nala mouth the words 'they fucked' to me, and I couldn't help but smile. "There's a scarf in my bag." Rimona notified.
"Thanks." Nala answered blandly. She took a maroon strip of fabric and wrapped it around her torso twice. Rimona came to help me with the fire.
Rimona had a fire going very quickly, special thanks to her. Jordan and Aden went to gather sticks to skewer the rabbit meat. Aden had folded his shirt up and held the dangerous red berries Nala told me to avoid. "How many of those have you had? They're poisonous!" I yelled. Nala jumped from the rabbit carcus and to Aden.
