There's just somethings you should know before starting the book.
The clothing that women wore back in the days is a lehenga which consists of a long skirt(ghagra), a blouse and a rectangular piece of clothing called dupatta which is long.
There different colours, patterns, blouse and dupatta designs.
Some of the aesthetics:

For men:
This picture below is something that was a casual outfit to be worn at night or during practices.
It consist of a dhoti, salwar, angarkha etc.
--> Child marriages took place in those times in India but obviously that's gross so I will not have any child marriages in my book so don't blame me when the lead characters marry when they are young adults.
--> This is a book of my imagination. You are always welcome to take ideas from my book but there will be consequences for plagiarism.
--> I am always open to constructive criticism doesn't mean I I will tolerate unnecessary hate.
--> My updates are slow and uncoordinated so I apologize in advance for that.
