Chapter 11

*On The night of Cocktail Party *

Gulf had entered the living room with Mild for the cocktail party and he had missed Mew so much this whole week that he couldn't wait at all to talk to Mew, but he kept his distance from Mew this whole week in order to protect Mew because he already feels guilty enough about starting up a baseless and childish quarrel with Mew in front of cameras, but he didn't want this matter to aggravate any further than it already has because Gulf is aware how the media and the fans also might raise this topic again and again when the show will air. He wanted their reconciliation to be something only between the two of them, call him selfish but the way they talked it out was precious to Gulf, and he wasn't ready to give away a precious moment for people to exploit upon.

Gulf has always been extremely grateful for all the love and support his fans and the media has bestowed upon him in the last three years. But as they say all that glitters is not gold or every path has its puddle, similarly Gulf also had to give up a lot to be where he is today. One of the biggest things he had to give up was his privacy, which was something he held very dear to himself before he got famous. He truly felt honored and blessed to be given a chance and to be welcomed in the industry with so much love and support, but he tried his best on his part to repay the love that he was getting. He literally has been working 7 days a week, with 6 hours sleep at max for two years now.

He has been running since three years and people might think he is too young for this, but he knew the things he has experienced have prepared him enough. He had realized that he really wanted someone to share his life with. He craved that static support system and a home to go back to. He loves his family with his whole heart but he still wants a person he can call his own, Just His Person, His Partner. Coming into this show, initially Gulf was very unsure but he really wanted to see if he could actually find what he was looking for.

However, the first night only seemed to be an extremely difficult night and he was ready to just give up already, until Mew came along from that alley and Gulf suddenly felt protected and comforted. Gulf can never put it into words how much Mew has helped him throughout this whole process, without any expectation, without any demand, without asking for anything in return. He just cared and it showed.

Gulf might never be able to vocalise his thoughts but he also cared deeply for Mew and he also wanted to protect Mew from everything that can cause trouble for him, which is why even though it was hard for him to stay away from Mew the whole week but he braced himself to do it for Mew, for them.

As soon as Gulf entered the living room, he could sense the sudden change in the mood of the men sitting on couches. However, he didn't put much thought to it and shrugged it off thinking that they all must've become attentive as Gulf came into the Mansion.

Gulf stole a glance at Mew and he wanted nothing more than to hug Mew and keep his head on his shoulder and just feel him close but Gulf planned to talk to some other guys first before taking Mew to the secret garden because he wanted to spend as much time as he could with Mew, which is why he wanted to deal with the other guys first. As soon as Mild was done with his speech, Kris dragged Gulf first to talk and Gulf silently listened to him talking, nodding his head to indicate that he's listening.

After that he talked to 3 more men who interrupted each other's time with Gulf. When Gulf was done talking to four guys already for the night, he was sitting in the garden and he just took a deep breath before looking around but his eyes stopped at Max and Tul, who were sitting on the bench of the garden. They were quite far from where Gulf was, but Gulf could clearly see them. He started to walk towards them because it seemed like Tul was angry over something and Max was trying to calm him down. When he reached near them, Max noticed him and he quickly shut up, however, Tul still didn't see him because Gulf was standing behind Tul.
