To refresh the memory of those who have forgotten the previous update: The location is Singapore. Mew had gotten a rose on a two-on-one date, and Tiger had been eliminated. The remainder of the day was free for MewGulf to explore Singapore. Everyone was invited to the next group date, where they went bungee jumping. (If anyone is still having trouble remembering, I recommend going back and reading the chapter before this one.)

It was their last day in Singapore. All of them took their time to relax and unwind after the exhilarating and mind-numbing adventures the day before. The cocktail party was supposed to start a bit ahead of the usual time that night because they had an early morning flight the next day.

Mew, Kao, and Leo had already received a rose, so the one likely to get eliminated was going to be one from Max, Tul, and Kris. For the first time, Mew was wondering who was going to get eliminated because all three of them made Mew's stay here worthwhile. Without Max and Tul's constant encouragement, Mew would have been in a messed-up state of mind, and Kris is the one who makes everyone laugh a lot in these stressful situations. Mew was already dreading the elimination Tonight because whoever would go, Mew would feel he lost a friend.

On the other hand, Max and Tul were apprehensive about whether one of them would have to leave the other. The situation was very unpredictable, and no one could predict who was not going to receive a rose Tonight.

In the afternoon, when all of them were having lunch, the group of producers strolled in together. No one was miked, and there were no cameras around. When the producers arrived without cameras, it was an unusual occurrence. Everyone was curious as to what was going on.

The producers were in great zeal as they greeted all six of them. They announced they wanted to discuss Tonight's cocktail party with the contestants. They told them that since only six of them were left, they all would have plenty of time so they could grab Gulf for a chat, irrespective of whether they already had a rose or not. That--undoubtedly made Mew and everyone happy. Still, Mew was waiting for a catch with bated breath because there was no way these producers came in here to only tell them that all of them could talk to Gulf Tonight. There must be something else, and Mew's suspicion was proven correct when Lily stood up, clapped her hands, and animatedly started telling them that since there is plenty of time for them to spend with Gulf, they should pull up their socks and plan something special and arrange an extra gimmick for Gulf since they're nearing the end in almost 3 weeks.

Mew honestly didn't know what to feel about it. He had several thoughts about these processions. It is not that he is opposed to the idea of making Gulf feel special or expressing his care and affection for him. Still, the fact that the producers were instructing them to do so didn't sit well with him. It felt more like setting the stage for a fictional story than two people genuinely falling in love. The frequent intrusion of these goddamn producers in their relationship was starting to anger Mew. Why could they not let them be and let the feelings and emotions grow organically? Well, Mew knew the answer to that. The answer was pretty simple. It's a damn reality   SHOW . A reality show where Mew should've kept his guards up, but he ended up failing that task. He ended up falling irrevocably in love with a person who was dating 6 people at one time. Gosh! That didn't even sound good to Mew in his own head.
