Monty's pov;
"The fuck, Alex?" I asked annoyed. "What? It's just a dare. You chose dare" Alex shrugged. "Well I'm not gay" I defended myself.
"So? Clay's not gay and I'm sure he would do it" Alex looked at Clay. Clay's eyes widened. "Kiss Winston? Uh...I mean...I" Clay stumbled on his words.
I shook my head. "I'm done playing" I stood up and left to go to the bathroom.
I locked the door and looked at myself in the mirror. Alex is so annoying. Why would he even ask me to kiss Winston? I don't care if it's just a harmless dare. Why would I kiss him? I'm not gay. I only like him as a friend.
I splashed some water on my face to calm myself down.
Jessica's pov;
"Someone's mad" I mumbled. "It wasn't even a big deal" Alex rolled his eyes. "He could've just chickened out. He didn't have to storm out" Clay agreed.
I looked at Winston who was awfully quiet for once. He was just sitting, staring at the ground. I grabbed his hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze. He smiled at me and I smiled back.
"So, what do you guys wanna do next?" Winston finally spoke. I gasped. "Can I give you guys a makeover?" I smiled.
"Define makeover" Clay asked. "I'll give you guys a spa day. Come on" I begged. "I'm all down for a spa" Winston smiled. "Yeah I could use one" Alex agreed.
*Sometime later*
"Okay when you said spa I thought you meant a hot stone massage. Did you really have to paint our nails?" Winston asked looking at his hands. "I for one love them" Clay admired his own hands. Alex laughed.
"Hey should one of us check on Monty? He's been gone awhile" I asked everyone. "I'm not going. He might bite my head off" Alex sighed.
"Winston, you're probably the closest with him" Clay spoke up. I nodded in agreement. "Okay" Winston nodded getting up. "Don't smudge those nails!" I called out after him. "I won't" he called back.
Winston's pov;
I softly knocked on the bathroom door. There was no answer. "It's me... Winston" I spoke. Suddenly the door unlocked.
I opened the door and Monty was leaned against the bathroom counter. "You okay?" I asked concerned. "Yeah...I just needed sometime alone" he shrugged.
"Look Alex didn't mean anything by it. He just thought it was a funny dare. We can just forget it even happened" I offered. "Yeah...yeah let's just forget it" he nodded.
We were silent for a slight moment. "Do you like my nails?" I laughed showing him. "Jessica's giving us makeovers. You're next" I teased. "No way" he shook his head laughing.
We walked back into the living room. "Welcome back to the land of the living!" Clay exclaimed. "I'm sorry about earlier" Alex apologized. "It's fine. Let's just move on" Monty shrugged.
"Which color do you want?" Jess held up one blue and one green bottle of nail polish to Monty. "I have to take it off after if I let you do it. I can't go home with this on" he finally gave in.
"Good thing I brought nail polish remover" she smiled.
We joked around for the rest of the night. I don't remember how or when we fell asleep but we all did at some point.
