Monty's pov;
"Hey" I spoke quietly. "Hey" he replied as he dried his hands. We stood there for a few seconds in silence.
Suddenly I had forgotten everything I wanted to say to him. Did I even want to say something to him? Why the fuck did I even follow him?
"I'm happy for you" Winston broke the silence. I raised my eyebrow at him slightly.
"And Jenny. I'm happy for you and Jenny" he leaned against the sink counter.
"Thanks...I'm...I'm happy for you and..." I replied. I knew his name. I just didn't want to say it.
"Josh" Winston finished my sentence. I nodded slowly.
"Me and Josh are just friends" Winston shook his head. That made me happy. I don't know why.
"Oh" I answered sounding a little too relieved.
"Me and Jenny. We're not dating either" I told him. Winston looked kind of shocked. "Well you two looked pretty cosy to me..." he crossed his arms.
I shrugged. There was silence between us again.
"I should get back..." Winston stood up straight. I nodded. I didn't want him to leave. I didn't want to go back out there.
He gave me a slight smiled and walked past me. Part of me wanted to say "don't go" "stay for a bit" "all I wanna do is talk with you".
But I didn't. I let him walk right past me and out the door.
I groaned loudly. I looked at myself in the mirror. I don't even know who I am anymore...
Hell I don't even know what I want.
Clay's pov;
"Are you going to Bryce's tomorrow?" Hannah asked me as the movie finished.
"Bryce's?" I asked confused.
"Yeah Bryce Walker. He's having a party as his house. Are you going?" She asked again.
"Um...are you going?" I questioned. She smiled. "Yeah I am" she nodded.
"Then I'll be there" I laughed. "Actually if my friends don't go I probably won't..." I spoke quickly.
She scoffed. "What I'm not good enough company?" She joked.
"No you're great company! I just... you know" I tried to find an answer.
"Helmet. Chill. I'm just joking with you" she laughed. I cracked a smile.
We both leaned in and kissed again. This time it lasted much longer. Suddenly Hannah's phone started ringing.
"Shit it's my mom. She's probably outside to pick me up" she stood up.
"Oh...okay" I replied sounding disappointed. I think she picked up on it because she leaned in and gave me a quick kiss.
"See you at Bryce's tomorrow I hope?" She asked hopefully. I smiled.
"Most likely" I nodded. I walked her downstairs and waved her off. Her mom waved at me from the car and I waved back.
I watched as they drove off. I smiled to myself and turned around to go back inside and was met face to face with my mom.
"Jesus!" I yelled. "You scared the shit out of me!" I told her as I walked by her to get inside.
