A Slayer's Never-Ending Rage (Demon Slayer x Male Reader)

Chapter 3: First Mission

Y/N enters a town and looks around the area. "So, this is it, huh?" he questioned. 

His dull red sword glowed slightly brighter as the wrathful slayer knew that a demon was here and killing young girls. "I can't wait to find 'em and end 'em." 

He searched the area while examining it, he hears someone scream "hey, it's you!!" 

"Huh?" Y/N responded before turning around. It was Tanjiro and he was running towards Y/N with a smile on his face. "Oh, it's you." 

"Hey, I didn't expect to see you here," Tanjiro told him. "Guess we got the same mission, huh?" 

"I guess," Y/N retorted. "I just know that my dumbass crow screeched about me going to some town to save some girls and I came here." 

"Same," the fellow Demon Slayer replied. "Working together will surely help, right?" 

"I guess," Y/N answered. "Come on." 

"Hey, before we go, can I know your name?" Tanjiro asked him. 

"It's Y/N L/N," he told him. "What about you?" 

"It's Tanjiro Kamado," he answered smiling. 

"Nice name." 

"Thanks!"

The two began walking with each other and searching the area to find anything that might be related to the demon that has been taking away the young girls. All while doing this, Tanjiro asks Y/N "so, what's your breathing style?"

"Something I call Rage Breathing," he answered. 

"Rage Breathing huh? That sounds pretty cool," Tanjiro commented. 

"Thanks, I created myself," Y/N retorted before looking at what Tanjiro was carrying. "If you don't mind me asking, what're you carrying on your back?" 

"Ph, just some important stuff that I'll need for my journey," Tanjiro told him. 

"Like food and medical supplies?" 

"Sure." 

Y/N wasn't sure. He examined Tanjiro and saw him being an honest person but couldn't help but feel that he was lying about what was in the box. Granted, it was none of his business to know what was in it, so Y/N simply said "ok" and dropped it. 

Continuing their search, they see a man walking aimlessly. Tanjiro looks at him and says "hey, Kazumi!" 

"You know him?" Y/N questioned. 

"Yeah!" Tanjiro replied while running towards Kazumi. Reaching the young man, Tanjiro asks him "have you seen anything related to the disappearance of the girls in this town?" 

"Tanjiro?" Kazumi questioned. 

"Do you know anything about a demon taking away girls?" Y/N asked him. "The way you look tells us that you've seen some shit." 

"I have," he answered. "Follow me." 

The two Demon Slayers follow to an area that seems like nothing. "Why did you bring us here?" Y/N asked him. 

"I know why," Tanjiro told him. 

"Huh?" 

The red haired boy gets to the ground and begins to sniff. "The sense of the demon is small but it's still there," Tanjiro thought. "Follow me!" 

The two follow him as Y/N wonders "how the hell can he just sniff and just know where the demon is?" 

The three of them all walk together until night falls upon them. "Don't you two think that you should stop and get your rest?" Kazumi asked.
