Author’s Note:

Right guys, I’ve decided that I will only update as long as the latest chapter has got at least 5 notes. For example, I’ll only upload Chapter 4 when this chapter gets 5 votes. I think it’s fair because it keeps me motivated, you know? No point writing a story when no-one likes it! :’(

Anyway, thanks to everyone who voted on Chapter 2! And special dedication to @Celena_Obey for being such a sweetie!

“I-I’m so s-sorry!” I stuttered, the words barely coming out of my mouth. My cheeks suddenly felt warm at the mere sight of him. My eyes quickly pointed towards the ground, refusing to make contact with his. But I decided not to as it would only make things more awkward so I looked at his face only to be greeted by his eyes.  For such a small body part, eyes are so powerful. Especially against me. Truthfully, I’m a sucker for brown eyes. If someone with brown eyes decided to make eye-contact with me, I’d probably faint. However, Jordan’s were different. His eyes were even more powerful. His eyes were like a window to his soul. They were so sincere and so pure. If his eyes were a painting, they would be extremely valuable as they were so beautiful.

He grinned and his lips soon formed a half smile. Those smiles that boys would often do. I never noticed that he had dimples before. Wow, they were gorgeous. How can a guy be so gorgeous?

“Err…it’s alright!” he nervously replied. His hand slowly raising to back of his neck and scratched it. His arms flexed. Thank God he wasn’t wearing a tank top; otherwise I would have just fallen straight into a coma. It was fair to say that I was clearly smitten by Jordan. I’ve known ever since secondary school. He’s a year older than me which means he’s on his second year of college while on the other hand, I’m on my 1st. I had the biggest crush on him ever since I was 15 but somehow after the whole Alex Collins incident, I decided it would be best to turn off my feelings for him (and for any other guy for that matter).

I quickly looked away, hoping he hadn’t seen my enflamed cheeks.

“Anyways, I have to go pick up something from work so I’ll see you girls in college!” he uneasily added. His hands still ruffling his hair. He smiled at Hayley, who returned the favour and gave him a small smile and then he diverted his gaze towards my direction and gave me an awkward smile. Oh.

“B-bye, Alison…” he mumbled. His hands were now deep in his chino pockets. His hair was now extremely messy and roughed-up. Somehow, it made him even more adorable.

Me and Hayley walked little by little, me still high from our encounter with my teenage crush. Our pace gradually got faster but we were interrupted by a nearby shout.

“Alison! Alison!” a voice I was accustomed to shouted. Me and Hayley quickly snapped our vision behind us. We saw Jordan running towards us.

“Erm…yeah?” I shyly mumbled. My cheeks now going back to the enflamed state it was in earlier.

“Are you free Wednesday night? There’s this fair coming to town and I was hoping to maybe… ask you…to come with me” he timidly muttered. His eyes focused on the toe of his shoes, his eyes still dug deep in his pockets. His fringe slightly prevented me from seeing his face but I was sure that he was blushing like a beetroot.

I couldn’t help but let out a small giggle. I’ve been dreaming about this moment. Jordan Adams, the guy of my teenage dreams, to ask me out. My cheeks were so hot, I felt like it was going to explode and spew out lava. My cheeks were probably redder than his. I grinned widely and reached out for a piece of paper and a pen from my purse and wrote down my number. I reached for his hand which made him jump a bit. As soon as our skins touched, there was this euphoric sensation. It wasn’t like a spark as most people would say; it was more like a pulse. A pulse of pure ecstasy and happiness. I felt the pulse surge through my body, uplifting my tired body.
