The room went dead and cold breeze flushed over my body. Suddenly my mind went back thirteen years ago to when I was a little girl. I was laying in my bed trying to sleep but my mother and father were arguing loudly downstairs. Mom was yelling at him about how he never showed her enough attention and dad was yelling about how she was so needy and she had completely ruined our family. Later after the yelling had stopped my dad crept into my room but i pretended to be sleep. He sat on my bed and kissed my forehead. I could hear him begin to sob. He whispered in my ear "I love you my star" then he left and that's the last I saw of him. Realization snapped me back to reality. My eyes began to leak of tears. I looked up at my father who stared at me with pain in his eyes.

"That's why you left?" I asked him.

He nodded slowly. So it was true my mother had not only betrayed my father but she was the reason he left. Had she even thought of us when she was sleeping around? Regardless I knew I would have to forgive her. She was my mother aftert all.

6 Months Later

I laid out in the grass watching the stars beam. This was my first month out as an adult in the real world. I was working late and payind bills in a flash. I had a roomate to help me luckily. I hadn't spoken to either of my parents since I left California. Before I left my father took me to his job and showed me around. We looked through a telescope making the stars come closer than I would have ever imagined. They were just beautiful.

Today i was sitting on the window ledge of my bedroom. The night sky was filled with a gazillion of stars and I was sitting thinking about my life and everything I had gone though in just the last few months. If anything I learned..

Were all dreamers in an endless universe.
