Sandhya began telling the story, "Our king's grandfather, Shakti Rup Natya Rajyan had written that book. That book is named after himself, we do believe... Shakti. The power. It's the history, culture and stories about many villages and royal families. The royal members, the king, queen, prince or the princess is the one who are allowed to read the book."
Shravya was about to ask, but that was questioned by Navya and Bella, "Is there a princess of Natya Rajya?"
Sandhya answered, "No! Just a prince. I just added the members on the flow. There used to be a princess, after all now we have no princess. But I do believe she is the type of our prince," Sandhya winked but the content wasn't clear to Shravya. She asked, "You had a princess. After all, she is not your princess, why?"
Sandhya said, "Firstly, let me try completing the story. Majesty Shakti had told that this thick book should only be read after his death by any main member of the royal family, each page a year at the day before that particular royal's birthday. And that's the book," she pointed to the open book, one side written while the other side was white, "king Veera Ratan Natya Rajan just read few parts of the book and then one day he went forever, above the sky. From that day, queen Vridhi Veera Ratan Natya Rajan has started reading the book and last year she did stop in that opened page. And girls! Let me tell you; it's a magic book, I don't know what kind of magic surrounds it, but it is magic. That the royal members read a page once a year and the next page will appear to be blank but the next year when that particular person arrives to read, that page would be filled up with writing..."
Bella exclaimed, "That's so cool!"
Sandhya went on as the girls were listening, "The villagers had heard that the Majesty Shakti was the one who took our prince to the book of Elixir when he was aged four and that they both were keen lovers of books, that's why the library is to be maintained so well. The reson why this book is placed here is because this room used to be our old king's writing room. King Shakti Rup's literacy room. The old majesty passed away when our prince was six years of age, and from then the prince had showed his love to books. Once it was heard that the last blank pages of some books of Majesty Shakti were completed by the prince."
Navya choked, "Literally, that little boy was a magic."
Bella got in, "That's insane!"
Sandhya rolled her eyes at the girls and continued, "Back at that time! Majesty Shakti and our prince used to be great friends, they had many secrets between them than anyone else. The stories passed from one ear to other, they had said that, the blank pages are being filled by the prince who has the completed writing by his great grandfather."
Navya minded, "Maybe, it could be." Bella shook her head.
Sandhya explained, "At present, no one reads the book other than queen. The queen says that it tells about history, culture, traditions, myths, facts, stories and olden incidents within royal families, but she had said that she found nothing interesting to read on..."
Shravya's voice came out now, "And this coming time, when she reads the book, the day before the full moon night she will find it interesting."
Sandhya narrowed her eyes, "Mm... Could you make it clear?"
Shravya couldn't get anything straight, but her words swung out, "I believe so because my mind says so. I don't know why, I myself can't understand, that just came out. I never remembered anything but sometimes these unknown points pop out of me from nowhere, leaving me confused."
Sandhya smiled calm, "Not so wrong, you have a lot to find in you; maybe these are all hints of yourself. Leave it! Nothing matters until you figures out you, yourself."
Shravya took in a deep breath and released it into a smile. Sandhya concluded, "That was the story of book's secret that hid behind the golden door. Now about a princess. The prince and the princess, this duo was the hope, the pride, the happiness, the joy and everything of the village. They were the eyeballs of this eye, means the gems of this village. Majesty Shakti Rup used to call this pair by his name, 'Shakti'. The princess was just like the prince. A heart of goodness, surrounded by magic. She always used to be with the prince or I could say the prince stood always with the princess. The princess was an year younger than the prince, but both of them were too good to everyone and too intelligent. When the princess was aged five, the prince was six and at the that year the majesty Shakti Rup faded away from visibility. After that, a small family issue arose in the royal palace and the king had no way to fight with his sister who built up problems usually, there was no use of taunting her, hence the queen sent her sister and the king's brother back to her palace in the Queen's village. Thereafter the Queen's sister, husband and their daughter ruled another part of this village."
Shravya guessed, "Another flashback?"
Sandhya nodded as she flashed back, "The queen's parents died at an early age, so she took care of her small sister and her village, the Aahan Mitrapura. When King Veera fell for Queen Vridhi, they caught their hands to be together for the rest of their life. That's when Queen Vridhi's Aahan Mitrapura joined with King Veera's Natya Rajya and so the queen's sister lived with them in the palace. The king's small brother was just back from a travel tour, when he saw Queen's sister. They both had another story that finally led to their wedding. A golden year, the prince took birth, the next day king's sister gave birth to another prince; the mad prince... The princess came to this world, an year later. More than fifteen years back, this village was named, 'Aahan Natya Mitrapura Rajya', and this was the wealthiest and biggest village kingdom in all terms as both the royal families united. But after the small throne fight, the king's brother too couldn't fight with their wicked sister, hence the king's brother and queen's sister left the palace to rule Aahan Mitrapura. But no one knows if they still rules it nor if the princess is still in there. After their separation, the villages broke down back into Natya Rajya and Aahan Mitrapura. All were very upset for some days, then all were back normally. The prince of age six really missed the princess, few months after that King Veera laid down for his village. Back at Aahan Mitrapura, few years later when our prince too went on his way, a story flew that the princess came back searching for the prince to unite the villages back, but on the way a crooked, cunning and evil prince of Arka hima village, Angush Sid Arka Himal saw her while he came for a trip across the villages in his reindeer. He saw her and he wanted her, so he kidnapped her. After that it was heard that the princess of Aahan Mitrapura turned to be the princess of Arka hima, the coldest village above the frozen peaks. Then there were no tales! The Natya Rajyans sometimes told that the prince too left to bring the princess and to reunite his royal family. The prince and princess together could change the king's only sister, but before that all were crashed up."
The girls sighed.
"An incomplete love story."
"A broken family story."
"A crushed royalty story."
Sandhya blushed, "Girls! I told the story of Shakti, that concentrated the part of 'books' and you concentrated on the 'relations' part of the story."
The girls laughed as they walked out to the house closing the golden door, then the library door. They got in the house and sat in the living room as Sandhya went to the kitchen. She was much better now, better than the situation when Shravya met her. Navya desperately ended sitting, "A lost tragic relation."
Bella denied, "A crashed life-changer."
Shravya eventually concluded, "A world of firm bonding will be in their hearts, till then there's a hope for the return of Shakti. Hope for the return of Aahan Natya Mitrapura Rajya."***
