Shirabu hummed while tapping his chin, his gaze fixated on the uno cards he held in his hand. He eyes retraced back to group of cards in the center of him and the [H/C] haired child.
A red card with the number '7' plastered on the card, Shirabu glanced back at his cards.
He had a +4 colored card, and two yellow cards. He could put the +4 card and give the child 4 more cards, change the color to yellow and win the game.
But. [Y/N] had 10 cards in her hold as her big innocent eyes with her [E/C] orbs gazed impatiently at the male.
It's been 4 days and [Y/N] has gotten comfortable with Shirabu.
Shirabu let out a sigh, feeling guilty if the child received 4 more cards. "I'll take one more, I don't have one." He says in defeat with a smile on his lips as he picked up an extra card.
[Y/N] hummed before shuffling her cards, "This one.." she mumbled before placing a red card with the number '3' on the top.
"Eto.." Shirabu mumbled before they got interrupted by a person entering. "Sorry for disturbing you shirabu-san, [Y/N]-chan.." the nurse apologized.
"No worries. Is something wrong?" He shook his head before asking the female. "[Y/N]-chan has some visitors. I told them they can enter after you do the checkup on her."
Shirabu hummed in response before turning his attention to the child. "Sorry [Y/N]-chan.. we can continue playing another time okay? Some people are here to visit you."
[Y/N] glanced at the cards in her hands before nodding in response and handing the male the cards.
"I'll be checking your heartbeat and temperature then I'll be on my way alright?" Shirabu informed as [Y/N] responded with a low 'Hai..'
