Emy opened her eyes and look around the room. The sun passing through the window filled the room with its light. She threw away the covers and got out of bed. She opened the balcony door, looked out to sea and took a deep breath. Today she felt fine.
Too bad she couldn't attend Onur's funeral yesterday but she felt really bad. It was all Rallia's fault. Rallia is her cousin and roomate. She broke up with her boy friend two days before the funeral. To overcome the separation, she organized a "Support Night" at home. In the house she lives with Emy. So the night before her trip Emy with Marilou ° Rallia's younger sister and two girlfriends had this support night. They watched Rallia destroy one by one the photos of her ex, they drank with all the alcohol they had in the house cursing the males all over the world and slept on top of each other on the couches. In the morning, all the Girls had a heavier head than an anvil. All except Rallia who looked like she had spent a whole day in a spa and sang happily "i will survive ".
During the flight, Emy felt worse. Her stomach was complaining about the tons of alcohol she had consumed the night before and she felt so dizzy that most of the time she had her eyes closed. There was no way she could attend the funeral, so she stayed at the hotel and felt better late in the afternoon.
A knock on the door interrupted her thoughts. She walked into the room and opened the door.
"You're still like that ? your dad is waiting for us downstairs for breakfast," Aise grimaced.
Aise was a Greek Muslim from Izmir who lived on the same floor as Emy and Apostolos. They met in the evening at the hotel restaurant where they had dinner and immediately became friends. After all, Aise is a woman
full of life, social and in good joy who easily wins the sympathy of all.
"Don't stand like that, go get ready." Exclaimed Aise.
"fine," Emy said, opening the bathroom door.
"Haide (lets go) today I'll tell you the coffee**" she heard Aise as she closed the door behind her.
************************************" Haide let me see what the cup will tell us," Aise said excitedly and grabbed the cup which she before turning it upside down to "stand" the coffee "as she said.
Emy didn't believe in such things but Aise insisted .
"Mmm" Aise looked inside the cup. "What does it say in ?" Emy asked without much interest.
"I see big stairs, and a big office," Aise replied.
"Yes, the truth is that there's a staircase outside my office and an elevator next to it." Emi said jokingly. Aise frowned and looked carefully at the cup. "No" she shook her head.
"No, these steps are not real. They show the professional rise. You will take a great position, with more responsibilities of course but you'll love this ... Job." "
" Dad, are you going to retire and give me the reins of the business?"Emy asked Apostolos who drank his Espresso while reading a newspaper. "I have several years ahead until I retire, sweetheart, and I intend to remain the boss in my business," he replied with a smile.
"I see a key... someone will give you a key ... Are you planning to buy a house?" Aise asked.
"I have a nice apartment, of course it goes package with my silly cousin but I don't intend to move," said Emy, laughing. "
" Maybe Onur lefts you a property?" Apostolos asked with interest.
"Well,,, I am already impressed that a man who knew me for a short time included me in his will"
"Anyway, we will find out more tomorrow when the will is opened," added her father.
"Are we going to talk about the will now? Let me read the cup," Aise protested.
"Okay we stop"
"So where had I stayed? Let me see .. Wow what a man!!! Wow, look at those arms."
"Where.. Where is he?" Emi looked around but Aise turned her face to the cup.
"In the cup, sweety. Here, look at those muscles.. Ah Allah"
Emy could only see the remnants of the coffee. Where the hell did her friend see this man?
"Many women follow him but he doesn't take them seriously. He holds something in his hand .. (she brought the cup closer to her to see ) Something .. Like a rock?"
"Will he hit me?" Emy asked pretending to be terrified.
"No its not a Rock.. It's a stone .. It's small as pebbles and shiny. You will meet this man soon, if not today at least tomorrow. Ah! This man will come into your life and bring the upside down."
"Is he a carrier?"
"I don't know, however, his pockets are overflowing with money," replied Aise, who didn't understand the sarcasm in her friend's comment.
"A tall and happy R thinks of you. feels lonely and waits for you to call it"
" Rallia " yell together father and daughter.
"Mmm. You told me yesterday that you are free ..." said Aise confused. "Yes why;"
"girl I see wedding rings. You will get married .. And in fact very soon .."************************ ***********
Hours later a taxi left Apostolos and Emi in the parking lot of Emiroglou company. Shortly before they entered the entrance, Emy's cell phone rang. "Daddy, go and I will come to find you" she suggested and answered her cell phone.
"Rallia , I can't speak right now .. I am at Emiroglou's .. No.. in the company ... I don't know... the will will be opened tomorrow.. As soon as I know I will call you okay ... So I 'll close you .. Bye . "
She hung up the phone and took a deep breath. For some reason she felt anxious. She remembered the energy stone
from Amethyst that she always carries in her bag. She searched the bag and found it.
She walked in, holding the stone tightly in her palm. She explained to the clerk that Mr. Yusuf was waiting for her. The clerk informed her that she would find him on the 6th floor. Emy went to the elevator. The stone slipped from her hand and rolled in front of the elevator. The elevator door opened and the stone stopped in front of someone. Emy bent down to grab the stone but a long palm overtook her. She raised her head, in front of her stood the most beautiful man she had ever seen .. And in his hand held her stone.** AMETHYST:
- Amethyst is the gem of friendship and love. . The stone of the idealized and pure love.
- Helps fight stress, fear and anger. It brings peace to the mind and generally acts as a sedative.**Coffee magic /reading the cup:is a technique familiar to Greeks and Turks due to tradition. It is an integral part of the Greek tradition, and in fact very popular among the Greeks who came from Asia Minor/Izmir. The most common is with Greek/Turk coffee(it's the same Coffee) . After the person has drunk the coffee, not until the end so that there is a little liquid left to dissolve the dregs, ask him to turn the cup two or three times and then turn it gently on the saucer of the cup. Leave it for about 5 minutes to allow the sediment to dry on the walls of the cup, and then turn it over ready to reading.
