Chapter 8: Sero's House Part 2

(Y/N) Pov:

Sero couldn't stop laughing after he told us all that. Us, on the other hand, all had varied reactions to this newfound information.

Denki for one couldn't stop laughing because he was in too much denial. Kirishima was in too much shock to even say anything. Bakugou was pissed, to the point of him almost using his quirk in the house. And me well I didn't think it was all that bad. Sure it came as a shock to me but these guys were exaggerating quite a bit.

"Aw come on guys it's not that bad seriously, besides it's not enough to kill you so just enjoy it. You all are spending the night so no one will find out, let's just relax," Sero laid his hands behind his neck and kicked his feet up on the table. This enraged Bakugou because of how laid back he seemed. Bakugou swung at the boy but completely missed causing the explosive boy to land flat on his ass. "Yikes I didn't think this stuff was that strong," Sero said laughing at the blonde boy on the ground.

"Bakugou are you alright?" Kirishima said rushing to his side helping him up. They both sat side by side Kirishima put his arm behind Bakugou's back helping him sit up. They both made eye contact for a considerable amount of time. I could've sworn I saw them lean in towards each other. All of a sudden Bakugou burst out into laughter and had a huge smile form on his face.

"Kirishima come here, give me a hug you beautiful manly man," Bakugou said smiling widely grabbing onto Kirishima's hand. All of us looked at each other very confused as Bakugou cuddled up to Kirishima's side.

Meanwhile, Sero was bent over laughing holding his stomach, "I didn't suspect him to be such a lightweight when it came to this!" I looked over to them and couldn't help but chuckle at the two boys. I glanced over to Denki who was concentrating on flowing lightning from one finger to the other.

"Hey, Denki move your fingers below your nose for a second and try and increase the stream," I said to the boy. He gave me a confused look but shrugged and did as I asked. I pulled out my phone and took a quick picture of the boy and opened my messages.

(Y/N): Sent a photo

(Y/N): Look doesn't he kinda look like your dad without the beard?

IcyHot: ...

IcyHot: Are you trying to give me more trauma

(Y/N): Nooooo Sho I'm sorry

IcyHot: Should I expect trauma from him too?

(Y/N): Shoto I'm sorry I didn't mean to

IcyHot: Oh that was my attempt at a joke you're supposed to laugh

(Y/N): Goddammit I hate you IcyHot

IcyHot: No I don't think you do

I scoffed at the message and shoved my phone back inside my pocket bringing my attention back to my chaotic squad of new friends. Somehow this wasn't affecting me as much as the others so I was just having fun admiring everything that was going on. I luckily brought a video camera to school that day and still had it tucked away in my bag. I decided this would be the perfect moment to start documenting my journey to become a hero.

As the night went on chaos ensued, we ended up walking around Sero's neighborhood and sharing lots of laughs with each other while being pretty loud. Someone came outside and yelled at us to shut up or they were going to call the police in which case Bakugou yelled back "Do it, coward!" The man ended up chasing in which we were so tempted to use our quirks but we we're still slightly stoned so decided that probably wasn't the best. Thank god we had some stamina thanks to class with Dadzawa earlier today so we easily outran him. We managed to run back to Sero's house before we all collapsed on the floor and began laughing out of exhaustion.

I grabbed Denki's hand instinctively to check on him. His heart was beating so fast I barely needed to use my quirk to be able to tell if he was alright. I laid my head on its side panting while staring at that adorable idiot. Why do I feel this way for him. Ugh, stupid brain stop being confusing I hate you.

Denki turned his head facing me. He glanced down at our hands and then back at me about to say something cocky I presumably cut him off, "Do you guys want to play something laid back since we're all tired and worn out from today."

Everyone pulled themselves up from the ground and sat in front of the TV. Kirishima went and grabbed some water for all of us because in his own words "being dehydrated was so not manly."

We had all decided to play Minecraft, since Bakugou sat out last time I decided I would let him take my place. Kirishima and Bakugou sat closely on the couch while Sero, Denki, and I sat on the floor. Sero seemed the most awake out of all of us at the mention of video games so he sat straight up on the ground. Denki however, not so much, he seemed like he wasn't even strong enough to hold himself up because he was so tired. I decided to sit behind him and have him sit between my legs so he had something to rest up against that was more comfortable than a hard table. After a while, everyone gathered a lot of materials and had a livable amount of supplies to build houses. Adorably enough Bakugou and Kirishima built a house together which was a lot louder than you would've expected.

Some time had passed and everything was a lot quieter. It looked to be about 2 am or so when it seemed almost silent. Key word being almost. I could hear faint button pressing coming from in front of me. "Hey, Denki you can stop sweating the other guys are asleep already," I whispered to the boy in my lap.

"Come on I'm almost done just a few more blocks," He determinedly said. I watched as he finished up his house a put his controller down on the table. He slumped backward inching himself closer to me. He began gripping my shirt slightly and turned his head so his ear was to my chest.

"You going to fall asleep right there?" I quietly asked tilting my head to get a better look at the blonde.

"Shush I am asleep," He said like a little kid.

"You're such a liar," I said quietly laughing. I began slightly shaking him. "Denki wake up. Come on Kami wake up. Ugh, Big D you there?"

Denki moved his hands to his mouth attempting to silence his laughter and failing pretty badly. "You did not just call me Big D," He said through laughter.

"Shut up I got you to wake up didn't I,"  I said mildly embarrassed.

Denki turned around and looked back at me, "And I thought this day couldn't get any better but you sure proved me wrong." God his smile is indescribable it makes me feel genuine happiness and I never want his smile to go away ever. I couldn't help but smile back towards him causing him to become flustered.

I glanced back into his eyes once more and had to force myself out of this trance to manage to say, "Are you sure that's comfortable for you sleeping there?"

Denki rolled his eyes at me, "Yes of course it is. That's why I didn't move because. Well, it felt nice." He said tucking himself into my chest nuzzling it slightly. I felt my cheeks flush which made me grateful that he had looked away.

"Whatever, Pikachu Goodnight."
