(Y/N) Pov:

As soon as the fight was over I glanced around the battlefield looking for my dad. He laid there motionless as I tried limping over there. I felt popping in my legs and back as I tried to move luckily I hadn't taken too many falls at least that I could tell. However, force healing drained my quirk more than anything else and I used it a lot more than I was used to.

Once I was standing over him I fell to my knees and checked for a pulse on him. It was faint but he was alive but I could tell his heartbeat was slowing with every breath he took.

"SOMEONE HURRY I NEED HELP OVER HERE!" I screamed out with my voice cutting out for how loud I was screaming I looked up at the entrance and locked eyes with Uraraka who turned around and shouted at the ambulance behind her and informed them about everything.

They're taking too long. He's not going to make it. I can help. I have to he's my dad! I placed my hands on his chest and began force healing him in his most vital injuries. His lungs were messed up seriously so I tried healing them as much as I could. Something was limiting me from using my full strength to heal him however. There was something inside me that wasn't letting me push myself. I kept fighting and fighting until I could see white light begin to come out of my hands as I pushed myself to the limit.

I screamed out in pain. "DONT LEAVE ME DAD!"

Suddenly my hands fell to my side. My body began falling forward softly landing on my dad's chest. His heartbeat still remained slightly beating. My consciousness began to fade and my body became numb. I tried to keep my eyes open but they kept shutting. I can't leave him. Not now. I couldn't do it my body began to grow too heavy.

"I'm sorry dad..."

My eyes slightly fluttered open. As I looked around the room I realized I was in a hospital bed. My head began hurting once again. Stupid headaches all of the time I wish they would go away. I looked to see my window sill covered with cards, balloons, flowers, and other little gifts. Suddenly my memories began coming back to me, the attack on USJ, Tomura, the flashbacks, and... my dad. Shit, my dad!

I began to crawl out of the bed and made my way towards a lady at the front desk.

"I want to know if another patient is here, his name is Shota Aizawa," I asked the lady.

She looked back towards me and monotonously responded, "I don't know kid go back to your room."

"Please he's my dad I need to know if he's okay," I whisper yelled. My eyes began forming tears in them as I now had to force myself away from looking at the lady.

The lady sighed, "Let me see...Oh yes, he's right down the hall to the left lucky for you. Just be a little quieter people are trying to sleep." I quickly nodded and began jogging down in the direction the lady told me. Despite how much it hurt to jog I needed to check on him.

I looked through the window and saw a man in there bandaged from head to toe but luckily his hair was seeing through making him easily recognizable. Also in the room was Hizashi, I was really glad dad had someone there with him. I opened the door quietly careful not to wake him in case he was asleep.

I approached Hizashi, "How is he?"

"He has a lot of broken bones, tissue tear, nothing that won't be healed over time. However, he did serious damage to his eyes but he should be okay if he is given time to recover," Hizashi said slightly tearing up.

I extended my arm out onto his shoulder, "Thank you. It's like you said he's going to be alright."

"He said you were reckless but brave."

"What?"

"Shota, he woke up earlier and said that to me. He was only able to stay awake for an hour which he spent talking to me. He said you shouldn't abuse your force heal to the point of passing out," Hizashi stated slightly smiling at me

"He was dying what was I supposed to do?" I retorted.

Hizashi laughed, "He said you would say that. He means you need to learn how to control your quirk more. But I think you did the right thing kid. It's what I would've done if I were you."

"Thanks tell my other dad that I like you more than him since he doesn't approve of me saving him," I joked. We both chuckled quietly managing to slightly smile at one another.

"Will you tell me when he wakes up again? I wanna talk to him," I said.

"Of course I will kid," He ruffled my hair before pulling me into a hug. It caught me off guard at first but then I embraced it fully and hugged him back tighter.

"You should probably head back to your room and say hey to your guest," He said.

"What guest?" I asked.

"You'll see."

When I walked back into my room I realized someone was in the waiting chair in my room. A certain yellow-haired boy was sat there. Why was he here? I looked over at a clock, the time read 10 pm, I glanced back at the boy who was passed out awkwardly in the chair. I smiled realizing how adorable he looked while sleeping. He slept with his mouth open allowing slight snores and slight drool to fall out. He looked so cute and I couldn't stop staring.

Why couldn't I stop staring?

Denki started to shift in his seat as I stared at him. He slowly began waking up. He stretched his arms out slightly as his eyes began to sleepily open. I was smiling so big at the semi-asleep/awake boy who I was lucky enough to be best friends with. But are we really just best friends? Before I could finish this thought I was embraced by a warm hug. His head buried in my chest as I could feel the front of my gown becoming wet from his tears beginning to form.

Once he pulled his face away from my chest I couldn't help but stare at the boy. His eyes were puffy likely from crying but his yellow orbs were glistening and I couldn't stop myself from staring.

"I thought you were gone after you passed out I didn't know what to do," Denki said through sniffles.

I placed my hand on his cheek and held it, "I'm here alright, you don't need to cry. I'm here," I said as I stared at the boy once more. He returned by staring back at me. I felt tempted to lean in and just kiss him there but I couldn't. I don't know how I am feeling right now and he probably just thinks we're Bros.

I shook off the thoughts and embraced him once more. It was one of the most comforting feeling in the world being with him. He made everything just fade away. He made me feel safe just by being there for me.

"Stay by my side tonight, please?" I asked.

"Of course," He responded taking my hand helping me towards my bed, and holding it as I fell asleep next to him.

And I think I love him for it.
