Jada's dress^^
Jada POV
*3 months later*
Today is the day. My day. The day I steal the last name of the man I love. The day I begin a new chapter in my life as Mrs. Jada Alsina. The way his last name sounds next to my name is music to my ears.
My nerves were threw the roof. I was so excited yet so nervous about today. I looked at myself in the mirror. It was more of a stare than a look. I couldn't believe this was happening.
"Jada, are you going to put on ya dress or what?" I snapped out of my thoughts quickly moving towards the closet where my dress was. My make up and hair was already done. I put on the under layer of my dress before stepping into my actual dress.
"Jada. You look beautiful. Mama would be so happy to see you in this!" Nyla rested her hands on both my arms rubbing them. This was a bittersweet moment for me because I wanted my mama here more than ever.
"I miss her so much Ny." I looked up at the ceiling trying to hold the tears that threatened to fall. I didn't want to mess up this makeup.
"I love you Jada. I'm so proud of you mama. You deserve this happiness." I smiled pulling her into a tight hug. Her unwavering support pushed me to keep going. Everyone deserves a friend, sister, ride or die, like Nyla.
"Y'all gon make me cry." I laughed at Cha comment shaking my head. I looked around seeing that everyone was ready. The guys lined up in front of me, locking arms with whom they were walking down with.
It was Mama Sheila, Her husband, and Mama Marie. August wasn't the biggest fan of him but he wanted his mama apart of the wedding as did I so she was going to walk with him and Mama Marie to sit in their seats. It was Chris/Nyla, Jamal/Cha, Kirk/Kaia, Mike/Karly, Netia/Sneak/Teke. Kayla, Royalty, Chay, Maya, and Kayden were after them, as the flower girls.
Anthony was the ring barer, while he and Jamals son were also "Ring Security" . Their outfit was so adorable I loved it. It was a navy blue tux, they had secret agents badges on, and the rings in a case.
Nyla and Cha went all out with this. My baby even had a sign, it said "don't worry laddies, I'm still single." I thought it was the cutest thing ever. Jamals son Jr. had a sign that read "Ring Security." I watched them all walk down one by one as the music played in the background.
When it was time I locked arms with Paul and made my way out the door.
August POV
I stood in front of all our family and friends, waiting for everyone to walk down. The music started to play knocking me out of my thoughts. I seen my mama, her husband, and Mama Marie walk down. I wasn't his biggest fan but as long as my mama was good, that's all I cared about.
Once they made it to me, I hugged my mama tightly and kissed her cheek, showing the same love to Mama Marie. I gave Jared a head nod, he did the same and they sat down. After the three of them it was Chris and Nyla, Jamal and Cha, Kirk and Kaia, Mike, and Karly , and Netia, Sneak, and Teke.
I dapped up each of my boys taking the card from Chris and hugged all the women. Soon after I seen, Kayla and Chay walk down letting flowers go. Then Kayden, Maiya, and Royalty doing the same thing, then it was Anthony and Jr. with the rings, we all laughed and smiled at they outfits, I just knew this was Cha's doing. The song ended and Marry Me began to play. My heart began to beat a mile a minute. My palms felt sweaty, everything seemed to slow down but move at the speed of light at the same time.
Everyone stood to there feet turning towards the hall. This was it. I was about to be face to face with my bride. The woman I was going to spend the rest of my life with.
