At the entrance gates of Baskerville, the car that Anita and the boys were in approached and stopped. An armed security guard came over to Sherlock's side while the dog handler approached with the dog.

"Afternoon, sir. If you could turn the engine off," the guard said and Sherlock handed over his ID pass as he switched the car off.

"Thank you," said the guard, and he went back to the gate room to swipe the card. Sherlock turned to Anita and John, who was in the front seat after another battle of Rock, Paper, Scissors.

"I need to see Major Barrymore as soon as we get inside," he said.

"Right," John replied.

"You want one of us to go with you?" Anita questioned, leaning into the space between the two men again.

"No, I need you and John to start the search for the hound."

"Okay."

"In the labs; Stapleton's first," Sherlock said, then the guard brought back Sherlock's ID and handed it over.

"Could be dangerous," Sherlock commented. John and Anita smiled at the comment as the gate slid open and Sherlock started the car and drove in.

The door lifted open into the first lab that Anita and the boys saw and John and Anita walked out of the elevator. As they pushed forward, Anita noticed that there were only two scientists in the room, but they quickly left through a side door. One of them turned off the main overhead lights which left the room lit dimly by a few arcs of lights on stands.

The pair looked around, a little bit anxious. Anita had never been fond of the dark; she didn't like not knowing what was there. She glared into the dark before sharing a look with John and trekking on. They approached the door at the far end of the lab and John took out a security pass from his pocket and swiped it through the reader. Anita then reached forward and pulled the door open, letting John go in first, then following.

John and Anita walked through the decontamination zone to the door at the far end. John tapped his finger on the glass window in the door. When nobody replied, he pushed the door open and the two of them entered the room, which had a glass walled section on the left hand side.

"Spooky," Anita commented, trying to lighten the mood. John let out a soft chuckle, shaking his head at the girl, who smirked.

There was a glass fronted cage inside the sealed section, but there didn't appear to be anything inside. In front of the pair was a desk with equipment, folders, a phone, and various other things on it. Above the desk were small plastic tubes coming out of the wall and dials which indicated that the tubes were set up to dispense various gases. Anita opened the door of a small cupboard set into the desk, but didn't find anything she felt like mentioning. John continued to look around.

On the right hand side of the room were large metal pipes, presumably also carrying gases. One of them was leaking slightly, which Anita was sure had to be against some health code. The pair looked around a little longer and then left the room and went back through the decontamination zone and back into the lab. As Anita and John turned right, so that they could close the door behind them, a device lit up and shined straight into their eyes.

"Oh, no! Jesus!" John exclaimed.

"For Christ's sake-" Anita exclaimed as she shut her eyes and turned her head away.

Anita opened her eyes slightly and tried to look around the room, but all the other lights in the room appeared to have come on as well and there appeared to be a wall of whiteness all around John and Anita.
