James Potter I

"Lily." James knocked on her door three times. It had been almost three days since the girl had left her room.

"Go away," came the pitiful noise from inside her bedroom. James thought he heard some sniffling. "Leave me alone."

"If you don't open the door I'm breaking in. I'll give you three seconds. One! Two! Thr—" The door swung wide open. "Wow, I didn't think that would work."

Lily glared at him angrily in her ratty old pajamas, her hair a crumpled mess from not being combed. "What do you want, James?"

"We're going to Hogsmeade," James stated frankly.

"No. We're not." Lily made way to shut the door, but James blocked it with his foot.

"Oh, so you haven't run out of your chocolate stash?"

Lily pursed her lips. "Fine. Give me a minute to change." She shut the door and James could hear rummaging from the other side.

"And maybe give your hair a comb," he suggested cheekily.

"Bug off!"

After Lily finished looking somewhat decent, James threw the invisibility cloak over the two of them and they began to go down the secret passageway to get to Hogsmeade.

"How do you know how to get to Hogsmeade?"

"Now, now, Lily flower, what did we say about asking questions?"

"They better have a huge stash of chocolate frogs," Lily grumbled as they walked through the damp tunnel.

When they had finally reached the underground cellar, James led Lily to the stash of chocolates underneath Honeyduke's. "All for the taking, Miss."

Lily took a bite and sighed, reveling in the taste of sweet milk chocolate. She didn't even notice James leaving a small stack of money for the owner to find the next day in exchange for the sweets.

Once the two of them had gorged themselves on enough chocolate and sweets to feed a small army, they sat across from each other, both of their backs resting on a stack of wooden boxes, their legs stretched out and meeting in the middle. To their side, they had a bag full of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans and took turns calling out the flavor they had just tasted.

"Banana." James chewed, relieved.

"Lobster." Lily hummed. "Not bad."

"Earthworm."

"Mint."

"Fried egg."

"Sulphur." Lily spit it back out.

"Blueberry."

Lily studied James closely with an unknown expression that turned into a warm smile. "Thanks for cheering me up, James. I know I can be a handful sometimes," she said in a voice that was softer than what James was used to.

He leaned his head back against the boxes and grinned. "You're not my only friend with a time of month. I know how you all like your sweets." He popped a jellybean in his mouth while Lily rolled her eyes at him, the smile on her face only growing brighter.

Suddenly James's face turned sour and he began to gag. Spitting the jellybean out, he began wiping at his tongue in true desperation to get the horrid taste out of his mouth.

Lily looked at him with mild concern. "Vomit?"

"Vomit."

Lily Luna Potter

She was competitive. At least when it came to Quidditch. Her mother was a player for the Harpies and her dad was the youngest seeker at Hogwarts, of course she was competitive!

It was just supposed to be a friendly game to help everyone relax.

"Lils," her brother, Albus, threw her arms around her shoulder and pulled her in. "We all know this game is going to be anything but friendly."

"It won't be friendly for you since you'll be the loser," Lily taunted.

"You're on."

Lily and Albus were made team captains for the game and that meant they had to choose who they wanted for their teams.

"I pick Scorpius," Albus announced.

"What?" Lily screeched, "You can't do that!"

"Why not?" Albus smirked.

Lily rolled her eyes. "Fine. He's not even good at Quidditch."

"Oi!" Scorpius protested.

"Sorry, love!"

Lily studied her options. "I pick James."

"Took ya long enough," James muttered as he jogged over to his sister's side.

Once the teams were made and positions were decided, the game was set to start. The two teams faced off and the game began.

Lily, the seeker, decided to fly high and keep a watch from above as the beaters, keepers, and chasers continued their back and forth. Scorpius flew up to join her.

"Ah, so he made you a seeker." Lily kept her eyes open as she searched the field for any sign of the golden snitch.

"I'm not that bad at Quidditch, you know." Scorpius replied.

"Well..." Lily sang. Suddenly her eye struck gold.

Scorpius noticed her behavior change and quickly charged for the snitch that was behind him before Lily could get a head start.

They chased after the snitch, with Scorpius just a tiny bit closer to the snitch than Lily. He reached his hand out, desperate to grab the small ball when Lily called out as loud as she could, "Your butt looks amazing from this view, Score!"

In that moment of hesitancy as the boy was shocked by her declaration, Lily surged forward and grabbed the snitch bringing victory to her team.

She and Scorpius flew down to the grass while Lily could see Albus throw down his bat in frustration.

"That was one hell of a friendly game, Al!" Lily called out, her fingers still clutching the winning snitch.

"It's not my fault your boyfriend is easily distracted." Albus tossed her a towel so she could wipe off some of the sweat on her face.

"Aw," Lily tilted her head to look up at Scorpius, "It's one of the things I like about him."

"And my butt," Scorpius added, being a gracious loser.

Lily agreed, using the end of her towel to give a friendly smack to her boyfriend's behind. "And your butt."
