Haven't we all encountered a situation where you like someone but they're actually jerks or someone who is holding you back; whether or not you've encountered it yourself or one of your friends or family members have. We all know the saying "follow your heart" or things similar to that. But that doesn't mean your brain is telling you the wrong things.
What does it mean to "follow your heart; but take your brain with you?" That's just simply saying do what your heart tells you and make smart decisions too. For example, you just got into this relationship with someone who is pressuring you to do something you don't want to do (the action is up to you). When you're in a relationship make your boundaries known. If it is the right person then they will always respect those boundaries. So follow your heart but take your brain with you ;)
