We fell in love in October part 6

Y/N'S POV:

Previously in part 5:

I got out off bed and looked into the mirror. I had tears dried up on my face. Great, just great. I threw on a diffrent hoodie and walked out with Jason. We walked towards the field and met up with our friends.

"Hey guys!" Olivia said. I didn't feel like talking so I just waved at her. 

We all sat down and I started to look into the crowd. I saw Leon sitting a few feet away from us and I smiled and waved at him. My gaze turned to the right and I saw Kennedy sitting a few feet away from Leon. We looked at each other for a second, but I didn't wave at her. I still thought I did something wrong. 

"Hey Y/N are you okay? Have you been crying?" Olivia asked me

"Oh uhm it's nothing to worry about Liv. I have been crying because I just got my period and my stomach hurts a lot."

"No, you're not telling me the truth. I know you stopped your period three days ago."

"Shhh, don't be so loud! I promised Jason to always tell him the truth, but today I just couldn't. I don't want him to find out."

"Okay I'll keep it a secret, do you want to tell me what's wrong?" Olivia asked

Do I? Do I want to tell her? I've never spoken about it. Only to Jason, obviously because he and my family are the only ones that know that I'm bi sexual. I haven't told Liv about it yet and I am not sure if I want to tell her either. I mean she is a really good friend, don't get me wrong, but I just don't think I am ready to tell the world yet. 

"Oh no I'm good, thanks for the concern though."

 We all started to chat wtih each other until the teachers came out of the building. They got into the middle of the field and started their announcement.

"Dear students, first of all we wanted to thank you for showing up today! We have an important and very exciting announcement for you guys. Because our sport teams are doing so well, the soccer, basketball and baseball teams will go on a three week trip to LA!"

The whole field went crazy, even the ones who weren't in a team were excited for us. I tried to smile to let people think I was happy. I'm not. None of my friends do sports and there are some mean girls in my team. I got up and walked towards mydorm, leaving my friends and everyone else behind on the field. I got into the building and started running to my dorm while I started to cry once again. I ran until I felt a hand around my wrist that stopped me. 

"Hey... hey stop please. Wait!" I heard a voice say. "Where are you going?"

I stopped running and slowly turned around to see Kennedy standing behind me still holding my wrist. 

"Hey are you okay? Come here." She said pulling me into a hug. 

When she wrapped her arms around me I broke down crying even more. I don't even know why. She rubbed her hands on my back and told me some calming words. I felt save in her arms and started to calm down a little. Once I calmed down I let go and slowly started to walk towards my dormroom. Kennedy walked with me but stayed silent.

"Hey Kenn, I'm sorry for everything." I managed to say

"You are sorry for what? I don't get it."

"Well first of all I am sorry for ruining your shirt and second of all I am sorry for making things awkward yesterday."

"Y/N you really don't need to say sorry for those things. You are still my friend! Don't worry too much about it!"

"Alright. I'm going to take a nap so goodbye I guess."

"Bye Y/N"

I walked into my room and l lay down on my bed. 'You are still my friend!'  Friend. That hurts. But that is all that we are, just friends. Who am I even kidding, I never talked to her before two days ago. I can't be head over heels for a girl that I don't even really know! But I feel like I just got friendzoned anyways. You already know the drill: I lay on my bed, start crying and eventually I fall asleep. Goodnight y'all.
