Newtina Angst Oneshots

1-What We Used To Be (Part One)

*This is a oneshot when Newt, Tina, Queenie and Leta are students* 

  Tina sat alone at Thunderbird house's table sharing with the Griffindor students from Hogwarts, she was not as excited as other students in Ilvermorny about the Tri-wizard Tournament as she have lots of other important things to do. She wanted to be the best Aurror MACUSA ever had, she knew she was not very good at History and other stuffs like Herbology, but she sure was the best at Duelling, Potions  and Care of Magical Creatures. Care of Magical Creatures, that's right, she met an odd looking and shy boy a few days ago while she was heading back to the dormitory, she remembered it very well. 

Flashback

Tina's POV

  "Hey Teenie!" I heard my younger sister, Queenie says as I am walking towards the dormitory. "Yeah? Don't tell me you-" I am trying to say don't tell me you have to borrow some notes because you fell asleep at class, but got cut off by the little blonde girl. "No! I didn't fall asleep today! Look at there!" she says while pulling me violently towards a small corner of the dim-lighted hallway. 

  "Who do you think you are?!" a boy in Hogwarts Slytherin uniform is  punching another boy in Hogwarts Hufflepuff uniform, the Hufflepuff boy yelps in pain while dropping onto the ground with a thud, he is bleeding. "Don't try to save my dragons, they're mine, I can do whatever I want to them, it's none of your business!" the Slytherin boy yells at the poor Hufflepuff's face while the Hufflepuff boy is crying helplessly. I cannot just stand here and let them bully him like that can I? I think angrily. My sister is rooted to her spot, watching what's happening in shock.

   I rushed to them and yelled, "Stop it! You crazy kid!" They both look at me, and I can feel Queenie's stare. I run towards them and pulled the Slytherin kid away, I noticed something, he is a prefect! I shout at him like crazy, "You are a prefect and you still bully him! What kind of monster are you?!" The boys and also Queenie are taken aback by my bravery, the Slytherin prefect ducks his head down in shame and runs away, leaving me, Queenie and that bullied boy. 

"H-hey! Thank y-you..." the Hufflepuff kid smiles, looking at his feet. "What's your name?" I say, trying to look at his face but unfortunately, my vision is blocked by his messy mob of ginger hair. "N-Newt Scamander" he stutters. "My name is Tina Goldstein, nice to meet you!" I say as I extended a hand for him to shake. But embarrassingly, he doesn't see my hand and keep staring at his own feet, so I retrieve my hand awkwardly. Queenie walks towards us and says cheerfully, "Let's chat at the hall for some time! I think It'll make you feel better Newt!"  "O-oh, okay!" he replies. 

  We chat all night and go to sleep at 11 pm, it is late to my liking but not to Queenie. I remember that Newt said he loves magical creatures and he'll show some to us a few days later when we all have time.  

Flashback Ends

  Tina snapped out of her thoughts by the sound of someone sitting next to her, it was Sophia, Tina's worst nightmare of all time while at school, and she sometimes even thought that her Boggart may be this hell of a classmate. "You silly kid, I heard you saved another loser just like you a few days ago! Hahaha." Sophia laughed evilly, just like the witches in muggle cartoons. Tina shivered, she hated her very much, and she knew she would be bothered by her as long as they have classes together, and even thinking of her made her feel sick. "Excuse me, bye..." Tina muttered under her breath and hurried away. 

  A day passed, and Newt finally found the time to show them his creatures. He waited for both girls at the school grounds near the dormitory he was staying at. He also brought someone else here today, Leta Lestrange, a nice Slytherin girl and his only friend at Hogwarts. People said that they were both odd and annoying and always laughed at them, but they didn't care that much. When all of them arrived, he introduced them to each other. "Leta, t-this is Tina, a-and Tina, this is L-Leta..." He said awkwardly. "Let's go! Shall we?" Queenie blurted excitedly, nearly scaring them all off their feet. "Okay, let's go!" Tina and Leta shouted.  

  Ad they were heading towards the forest, they heard someone following them, it was Sophia,  the worst problem was coming...
