So.. Hello!

The "BIG" secret show that absolutely nobody paid attention to is "the Mysterious Cities of Gold"! a show that I watched since I was a kid and struggled to find in the internet for about 4 days in a row. it's an old French show from 1982 that was dubbed to English a year later. I personally found out about the show in 2012 when it got a second season... 30 years later. and it wasn't a reboot! those mad lads made a second season 30 years after the original came out!

the story talks about a young boy named Esteban and his adventures around the globe to find the 7 cities of gold, with his 2 friends Zia, an Inca girl from the Americans and Tao, a young boy the two encounter on their journey. the story takes place in the 16th century, america was just discovered by Europe and the entire continent is out to explore the new world, which is a perfect setting for the show's story

The reason I chose this show out of any other show that I like, is because of the similarities between the characters, Ash is really similar to Esteban. Zia is really similar to Serena and so on giving me the possibility to keep the characters as they are and make them less OOC as most writers would do.

this story will take some time to complete, maybe it won't be completed even after summer vacation but that's exactly how I wanted it, I needed a break from my other story betraying the legend and this is my way to do it, as this story will follow the plot of the show giving me more time to worry about what's coming next and to focus more about the characters themselves. of course I will change stuff so don't worry those few that did watch the show

if you do want to watch the show before reading the story it's completely understandable (even though you won't need to as this story is basically a retelling of the show's plot) you can find the first season on any anime streamer online (I used gogoanime.ai) the second season on a site called watchcartoon.org, the third season you can find on youtube and the last season is not currently not dubbed or even subbed in english but if you're ok with that or somehow found fanmade subtitled you can use a french vpn and find it on a site called OKOO
