Actually my first real shift was towards Hogwarts! This chapter is all about that experience, I stayed for about 2 weeks the first time. Most people say to stay a day for your first but it took me so long to finally do it and I wasn't about to leave LMAO
..............................................
Since I used a sleep method I woke up there, first when I woke up I was in a sitting position and there was a bright light to my right, the ground was also shaking a lot so I was really confused.
I opened my eyes to see infront of me was Ron, I jumped and yelped then immediately slapped my hand on my mouth. I realised I shifted and I was so excited, but also really embarrassed because now, Ron, Harry and Hermione were looking at me. Professor Lupin was still asleep.
I told them I woke up and saw a spider on my leg but I shook it off now. Then we started talking, basically in my script, I wrote that I actually got in the train before them and was asleep and then they came in.
So we introduced our selves and my heart was like racing. I even stuttered a little and that was embarrassing.
We talked a little and laughed around and they asked about my accent because I don't have a British accent and I didn't bother to script one. By then I was already getting relaxed, I was really excited for Hogwarts of course, but talking to them I realised they are just the people and not that exciting actually.
Then the dementors came and holy shit I was not ready for something like this so soon. I literally felt like I was in a horror movie, thank god Hermione was next to me because she definitely is one of those people that makes me feel safe.
So Harry fainted, professor Lupin woke up and gave us chocolate, basically just what happened in the movie happened. Not that much interesting things happened.
Then when we entered Hogwarts, the castle was HUGE! And I live in Europe and visited many castles before, they cannot compare to Hogwarts. Everything looked so lively and the meals looked amazing, but along with the first years I had to get sorted.
So I didn't script my house but I'm pretty sure I am a Slytherin since that's what I got on the potter more quiz, I'm not really brave nor impulsive, so not gryffindor, I'm loyal to my friends but I'm not THAT loyal, like I like hanging out with them but if they were gonna die I wouldn't transfer my kidney. I am good in maths and English but I suck at geography and science, I would say I think logically a lot too, so Ravenclaw would probably be my 2nd house.
Indeed I got Slytherin, I grew up in a strict house hold, because you know, asian moms. I got through it by lying mostly, like when she set screen time, I found a hack in settings and made it look like it's glitching so my parents uninstalled it LMAO.
So then the golden trio kind of glanced at my worriedly or uncertainly, I'm not sure if they were afraid FOR me or afraid OF me. Pansy introduced herself and we became friends, she was a little bit of a pick me, but I needed someone from Slytherin before I made actual friends in Slytherin.
I didn't really talk to Draco, he wasn't really interested in talking to me. Then we ate and went to the dorms. It was really cool, kind of cold there but it felt peaceful. I haven't shared a room with someone before unless you count a 3 day camp with my CR class. I really should have scripted that I have my own dorm because it wasn't really comfortable for me.
For the first week it was hard to get used to the classes, especially where to go. I mostly followed Pansy but I had a few different classes from her. I also became friends with Luna and she's really nice to talk to. She also really helps me in class, even if I scripted to know everything, it was still hard to get used to, it was weird, like I knew the knowledge but I wasn't used talking about it, doing it and was kind of slow with processing it.
I also became okay friends with Draco since I sit next to him in potions, he just normally talks shit about people to me during class though. Like we would be making a potion and he would just randomly say stuff like look at Potter, isn't people wearing glasses supposed to be smart? It's kind of funny but also weird how obsessed with Harry he was.
Overall it was quite fun in Hogwarts, learning about magic was really interesting. Though I wouldn't say it was exciting. The only exciting parts are the dealing with dementors and big dramas happening, normal days there was just normal. Magic is cool at first, but it's kind of like science, you get used to it and it gets less exciting.
I would rate this a 7 out of 10, it was really fun but no where as amazing as the movies, since in the movies they mostly only show the 1 in a year exciting Voldemort pranks. Which I was in for a bit of it since I wasn't in Gryffindor, it was hard to always be with the golden trio.
