" I can't believe your ditching me Elijah"  Carter whined looking at Elijah who was getting ready to go meet with kris so that they can go to the carnival.

"I'm not ditching you Carter" Elijah sighed turning around to look at Carter who was acting like a bitch " I told you that I need time with kris" Elijah sighed.

"But Carnival is our thing" Carter pouted

" Carter I'm chasing a man here you have to be understanding" Elijah picked up his wallet, phone and keys pocketing them. Elijah knows that this is their thing, every year they go to the carnival together but today Carter had to understand him, he needed to hung out with Kris, he had spent weeks without seeing the guy, Elijah misses kris so much.

" You sound so gay" Carter mummered grinning.

" How do you know huh as far as I know you not one" Elijah asked fixing his collar shirt.

" Be-because I-I kn-know" Carter stuttered saying laughing nervously, thinking whether he should tell Elijah the truth.

" I have to bounce" Elijah placed a kiss on his cheek softly " wish me luck" he whispered nervously.

" Good luck" Carter said smiling at Elijah. Elijah was out of the door with a small smile on his lips, happy that he was going to see kris again, the man he had found out a few days ago that he loves. Elijah loves the feeling he gets when he was talking to Kris, that warm feeling in his stomach which Elijah don't understand at all. How his body reacts when he hears kris' voice was overwhelming, how Elijah's heart beat when he thinks of kris- all this was a great feeling to Elijah. He got in his Jag and drive off.

He can't wait to see Kris.

Meanwhile Carter was busy going through a bride and wedding magazine when Elijah's door opened revealing non other than Matt. Since the day Carter broke up with Matt,he vowed to never talk to him again. Matt had been calling, texting but Carter doesn't reply, yes he misses Matt but carter knows their relationship won't work like ever, he gets jealous when he sees Matt with Kate, he wouldn't bear to see Matt being knotted down with Kate and not to himself plus to avoid being hurt he decided to let go of the impossible. Carter knows that if it wasn't for kelvin, Matt's father, Matt would love him openly but the fear Matt has for his father was beyond Carter's thinking plus Matt was old enough to decide what he wants, all Carter wants was for Matt to grow some balls and stand up for his father.

" Mon ange" Matt whispered Carter's nick name sitting on Elijah's bed " I'm hurting so much, I can't believe you ended us" Matt whispered putting his hands in carter's who extended not to be near him.

" What do you want Matt" Carter asked.

" Huh I want um-" Matt cut himself off looking down " I heard that you want to go to the carnival" Matt wanted to talk about their relationship but he decided to not pressure Carter.

" And what about it" Carter snorted.

"I am free right now, what about we go together" Matt alluded with a smile which didn't reach his eyes, hurt when Carter pulled his hands away from his.

" No Matt, I can't go with you" Carter let him down, he wasn't going to play Matt's games.

" Why, if we can't be lovers we can be friends right" Matt said with a smile. Carter examined his face not believing Matt at all. Carter loved carnival and he was sad that he was going to miss this one, he didn't want to go alone cause it's boring when your a lone. Carter thought about going with Matt, he thinks it won't be that bad, him and his best friends brother hunging out no one will suspect anything plus there is nothing going on with him and Matt so why not hung out together.
