I sit on the cold, stone bed connected to the wall with my elbows on my knees. I consistently run my hand through my dirty hair. I rub my stubble and squeeze my eyes shut. When I open them, I am met with the same gray, cement cell I was in when I closed them.

How did this happen?

I shake my head at myself. I will not be getting answers anytime soon.

Are the other boys okay? God, please let them be okay.

I move my eyes to inspect the sliding door of my cell. What looks like mold or moss covers it.

Ew, way to maintain cleanliness. They could've at least put me somewhere nice. Gosh.
