Pressing my face into the glass window, I stared at every establishments the bus was passing by.
"Tch. I don't know what I'd do if the window became your face, Luce," Natsu deadpanned next to me, causing hotness travelled to my face. I sat properly, clearing my throat.
"Duh. I just missed my hometown."
"That's why I brought you here," he stood up and offered me his hand. We're nearing our first destination, the Aqua Park!
But then, my excitement died down when the guy from the seat across us also stood up. He's wearing a black hoodie, cap, and sunglasses. I didn't want to think anything bad of him, but I couldn't help but be paranoid since we left Magnolia.
It's like he's following us.
When Natsu mentioned to me that we're going in Crocus for our date, I hesitated of course. It's where I came from, and going back here knowing that my father was desperately searching for me was the dumbest move I could ever make.
I asked for Levy and Sting's opinion first, since they knew almost all the things going on with my issue. And I found out that I'm like a wanted criminal with bounty. Papa had just broadcasted that he'd award five million to anyone who'd turn me back.
He's that desperate.
However, according to them that lately, it was finally settling down as my father has been staying silent maybe because of his health, so I was like 'Okay, fine. Guess there's no harm strolling around Crocus now'. Duh, he should prioritize his health and stop searching for me, right?!
And it's already past one month! I'm not a superstar that's worth to be the talk of the town for a very long time, no! I hope no one could recognize me. Cross fingers...
I thought there's nothing to worry about.
But this suspicious man appeared, and he looked familiar.
"W-Wait, Natsu," I whispered as I pulled him back down on our seat. Gulping, I watched the guy from the corner of my eyes, and let out a sigh of relief when he walked towards the exit without giving us a glance.
I guess it's all just a coincidence?
"Uhm, let's go," I looked away from Natsu when his eyebrows furrowed, but thankfully, he didn't say anything.
When we stepped out of the bus, the man was there and looking at us. Blinking rapidly, I gritted my teeth when the corner of his lips rose a bit. Despite his dark sunglasses, I could feel his sharp stares that sent chills of fear travelling through my body.
My grip on Natsu's hand tightened as I looked away, my eyes were wide when I met his worried ones.
"Are you okay? You look pale," Natsu raised his hand and placed the back of it against my forehead. "You're sweating too much, Luce."
My trembling hands searched for my handkerchief in my sling bag. Gosh, what's happening to me?
"N-Natsu," I stared at the huge building across the road in disappointment.
Ahh... An ocean park was where I wanted to have my first date because I found it romantic. Watching fishes, jellyfish show, talking to sealion... It's more romantic than watching the sunset on the top of the ferris wheel...
I watched the man cross the road with his hands in his hoodies' pocket, dark red hair sticking out on his nape. Wait, I knew someone with red hair darker than Erza's. Eh, I can't remember.
...but I think it's better to save the ocean park for the next time. I wouldn't enjoy it anyway, especially if that guy would be around us.
"Uh, I changed my mind. Let's go to the amusement park!" Before Natsu could say anything, the next bus already arrived. I quickly pulled him inside, sighing in relief as we settled on our seat.
