Chapter 20: Can't Help

A/N: I've just realized it, guys, that it's in the month of October in this story, yet Natsu had brought Lucy to a raining pink cherry blossom on a previous chapter. I was like, 'what's with you, brain?' T/////T

I'm sorry XD I've edited some descriptions on that part. A spring cherry blossom brings romantic atmosphere, that's true, but hey! The autumn cherry tree also looked stunning! *photo above*

"Lucy," someone whispered near my ear, tickling my skin. Furrowing my eyebrows, I brought my hand up to cover it, burying myself more into my pillow. But a firm hand pulled mine down and blew a hot breath on my ear. It tickles!! "Lucyyy! Wake up!"

I only groaned in response, trying to move away but I realized I was imprisoned by strong arms planted on both of my sides. Ugh, what the hell, it's too early...

"Heeey, Luce! Wake up!" I forced to open my eyes even a little, glaring at Natsu through the darkness when I saw his eyes wide awake, a huge grin plastered on his face. "Get up, sleepyhead!"

"Please have mercy on me, Natsu. It's only--" I took a quick glance on the alarm clock through my narrowed eyes. "--4:30, damn it."

Tch, I could even feel a drool on the side of my chin but I couldn't bring myself to care at this moment. The bed was still pulling me back! Seriously... what the heck's Natsu's game early this morning?

"Eh! Get up! We have so many things to do this day!" I tried going back to sleep by pulling the blanket over my face, but Natsu quickly yanked it away from me. "Come on! Jogging!"

"Hah?! What the heck...jogging..." I ran my palm all over my face in distress, forcing to rub the sleepiness off of my senses and slowly sat up. "Are you saying I'm fat?!"

"What?! Of course not! Jogging is not just for fat, you know!" He then reached for my hair, brushing his fingers through the strands as he gathered it all on the back of my head, the gentleness was making my eyelids so heavy...

"Luce!! Wake up, please!" And the next thing I knew, he's already shaking my shoulder, my hair in a high ponytail.

When I opened my eyes, he jumped off of bed and rummaged through the closet, then went back to me with a pair of black tights, a white tee, and his red hoodie. "Here, wear this! Quick!"

Now that I've gathered some of my senses, I noticed that he's wearing a black sweatpants, jacket, and white sneakers. His scarf was also tied around his head.

"What's gotten into you? You're weird," I blocked the lights that suddenly hit my eyes when Natsu turned it on without warning. "Heey!"

He only chuckled, standing in front of me while holding up a paper. It showed list of something. Grinning, he shoved the paper on my face.

"Here's the list of all the things we'll do today!"

"Huh?!" I tried to grab the paper from him but he suddenly put it out of my reach, shaking his head as he walked away. Before closing the door, he looked at me with his widened grin.

"It's all a secret for now! You have ten minutes to get ready!"

Eh?! I hopped off the bed and changed my pajamas into the clothes Natsu had prepared. Geez, this is so sudden! If he was planning something like this, he should have informed me the night before!

Lately, Natsu's being weird. And I noticed that it started when we had learned about Dan's imprisonment. Everyone's relieved, I was happy. But it seemed something's bothering him that he couldn't tell me. So I had decided to just ignore it because I thought, maybe he's just constipated? Ehem.
