2 days had passed since they saw each other , they talked over calls but their respective schedules were so hectic that they couldn't even talk for more than minutes. Especially Sonakshi, she was doing 17-18 hours shift from the past two days as they had to take her extra shots so that there wouldn't be any telecast issues.
On the other hand Rohit was missing Sonakshi( his friend) like anything. He had grown very attached to her in the past few days and he didn't know when it had become a habit to spend time with her. He had never been this happy before Sonakshi came in his life. All his sorrows never seemed to matter when he was with her. Not meeting her and not being able to talk with her was now getting on his nerves and he had decided that no matter what he will meet her today.
It was 8 in the evening Sonakshi had finally finished shooting.... it was a long day. She was in her dressing room when she remembered that the suitcase kept on top of the almirah had to be brought down.... as she would need it. On not finding anyone to help her she finally decided to do the task on her own. She took the stool and placed it in front of the almirah and stood on it , reached her hands out in order to get hold of the suitcase. On understanding that the suitcase was still away she stood on her toes and tried to hold it, when the stool moved making her fall . Her body twisted, her arms in the air, she closed her eyes as she was about to hit the ground. BOOM!! She fell but instead of hitting her head on the hard surface, she felt herself against a soft yet tough, protective masculine body. A pair of arms around her body holding her securely.
*A few minutes back* Rohit reached at the set of kpk Rohit: Netraji! Sona.... kshi kaha hai? Netraji : Wo apne makeup room mein hogi... Btw usne tumhe bataya kya.. Before she could speak further Rohit thanked her and left towards Sonakshi's makeup room.
He opened the door and let out a smile on seeing Sonakshi struggling with the suitcase. Soon his smile faded as he saw the stool moving making Sonakshi fall. He rushed there as fast as he could and held Sonakshi in his embrace making both of them fall on the ground.

On not understanding what happened Sonakshi opened her eyes and lifted her face up to see Rohit (her knight in shining armor 🤭) looking at her with utmost care and concern in his eyes. Rohit : Tum thik ho na? Sona : Ha..... tumne bacha jo liya
They both were lost in each other's eyes. Neither of them dared to look away from each other. They were like that for a good few minutes. It was as if nothing else mattered other than the moment they both were sharing.
Kahaani parvati ki, kahaani parvati ki... Sonakshi's phone rang.... bringing them out from their trance. Both realised their closeness and position.... like literally she was on top of him and both of them got up embarrassed. A red hue spread over Sonakshi's face and she went to answer her phone.... it was her mother 😜 Rohit on the other hand brought the suitcase down and sat on the sofa.
Sonakshi finished her call , went and sat beside him. Both of them were still embarassed (god knows why). Sona : Rohit tum yaha kaise? Rohit : Acha hua na main yaha hu warna pata nhi tumhe kya hota.. Sonakshi chuckled Sona: Nahi par seriously batao na everything okay? Rohit : Kya okay Sona... kshi kitne din se humari thik se baat hi nahi ho pa rahi hai. Pata nahi aise tumse baat nahi karta hu to kya ho jata hai mujhe firse us wakt ki yaad a jati hai.
Sonakshi put her hand on his hand and gave an understanding look
Rohit : Der saal pehle ki baat hai tab main aur Raima(😒) date kar rahe the when l found out that she was cheating on me and was with me only for my money. Although main usse pyaar nahi karta tha par fir bhi mein usse kafi attached tha use pasand karta tha.... Kuch din baad humara breakup ho gaya and she said ki l was the one to be blamed maine use kabhi time nahi diya, humare beech mein koyi compatibility hi nahi thi...she said. I never wanted to see her again neither did she. Uske baad mein hamesha sehma sehma sa rehta tha usne mujhe kabhi effect nahi kiya lekin wo sare events ne mujhe effect kiya, mei uske baad se kabhi bhi kisi pe asani se bharosa nahi karta tha. Sonakshi listened to him with so much care in her eyes.
Rohit : Pata nahi ye last do din mein mujhe bohot akela pan mehsus hua jo mujhe isse pehle matlab tumse DOSTI hone ke baad mehsus nahi hota tha. Main tumpe bohot bharosa karta hu Sonakshi tumne mujhe realise karaaya ki sab lok ek nahi hote...mere liye tum bohot important ho.....
Sonakshi took him into a hug as he said this. Sona : Tum bhi....kabhi bhi apne apko underestimate mat karna. You are the best in your own way and l am proud of you aur haa main promise karti hu ki iske baad main tumhe akela nahi mehsus karne dungi .... She chuckled
Rohit's phone rang.... It was from the hospital. Rohit : Mujhe jana hoga... Sona : It's fine... byee Rohit : Byee 😄
A few minutes after Rohit left ..... Sona : Oh no.... main to use batana hi bhul gayi ...
