Parade

~i won't bore you with another authors note, let's get into it!~

The morning after the ball seemed to come around too fast. As the spring morning sun glared through Marinette's skylight hatch it fell effortlessly over her face. As Adrien stirred from the late night, he noticed the glow highlighting Marinette's completions as she remained snuggled into his shoulder. The sensation in his arm was gone as Marinette's head cut off circulation- but instead of focusing on that, he let a feeling of complete satisfaction flood his body. A feeling of happiness, a feeling of love and peace. He finally was happy.

Adrien glanced past Marinette to the cat pillow behind her. Snuggled up were two little Kwami's. They almost mirrored Adrien and Marinette, Plagg glanced up to look at Adrien- holding a sleepy Tikki. Adrien laughed at his Kwami, he knew he had a soft spot in him- it just took Tikki to drag it out. Plagg rolled his eyes at his owner and went back to sleeping...

The chuckle Adrien produced seemed to cause Marinette to begin to wake up. Adrien felt bad for waking her and tried to settle her. He ran his fingers through her hair and with the arm he could no longer feel, he gently rubbed her back. No use, she noticed the sun on her face and groaned as she rolled on top of Adrien, turning away from the light.

"it was blinding me" she said, her words being muffled by Adrien's chest as she didn't bother to turn her head.

"but you were so peaceful" Adrien teased, placing his hands on her waist.

Marinette's hands fumbled about behind her for the top of the sheets before she grabbed them and flung the sheets over their heads. Now under the covers she finally looked up at a very worn out Adrien.

"you look like crap" She laughed

"that makes two of us" Adrien snapped back. "up" he demanded, moving his hands down Marienette's body. When he reached her thighs he quickly pulled them up, causing Marinette's knees to bend either side of Adrien so she was straddling him, still led forward on his chest.

"MARINETTE YOURE GOING TO BE LATE!" A voice called up from her hatch.

"SHIT! My dad!" Marinette half whispered as she jumped off of Adrien and dashed down the stairs.

Just in time Adrien threw the sheets over his head and grabbed the Kwami's as Marinette's hatch swung open.

"Marinette! The parade is in half an hour! It's 9:30am!" Tom said, entering Marinette's room and placing a tray of pastry's on Marientte's desk.

"i know Papa! Thanks!" Marinette said, grabbing toms arm and dragging him towards the hatch.

"where's Adrien Marinette?" Tom asked, his eyes dashing around the room in search of the boy.

Adrien's heart dropped, if he was caught he would've messed up everything he had with Marinette. This was NOT happening!

"oh ha! he's uh-up on the roof, he's letting me get changed!" Marinette said swiftly, opening the hatch and practically pushing Tom back down the stairs.

"oh-uh HALF AN HOUR!" Tom yelled as the hatch door got slammed on his head.

Marinette let out a sigh as she heard Adrien burst out in laughter from under he sheets.

"what was the point in hiding the Kwami's kitty?" Marinette laughed back, choosing out her normal pink jeans, t-shirt and black jacket from her chest.

"Kwami's have to stay secret, even if we aren't remember? Scientists and that" he replied

Somehow Ladybug and Chat noir arrived at the Parade just in time. 9:58am to be precise. They joined the other hero's on their float as the parade began. As soon as they landed down on the float, Rena Rouge and Carapace approached them.
