Back to the beach, Eric studied every clue he could find. Footprints lead away from the original location of the tape recorder. He followed them suspiciously. Shockingly, the footprints did not belong to Elisa as he had hoped...but they did belong to Tony! They led to the cliffs where Elisa had fallen. Unexpectedly, Eric found Tony standing in a stupor. Angrily, Eric stomped away, but Tony followed.
Eric returned home, only to discover that it was going up in flames! Tony ran into the mayhem and madly tried to put the fire out. Priya was trapped in the basement of the house. Eric pushed his way into the house to try and save his mother. Burning debris fell from the ceiling and knocked him unconscious. Tony dragged him out onto the beach, but he could not save Priya as well.
