Amber's pov: I was reading a book when something in me lit it on fire accidentally "agh" I said putting it out quickly

I sighed and groaned this is going to be a problem if my powers are controlled by my emotions it might cause trouble for everyone

This better not get into any of my free time I went out into golden goose Avenue I was carrying a huge crate with fruit

I slipped but I was caught from behind I looked up to see who it was and no surprise it was of course Merlin I groaned

"How is it whenever I seem to almost fall your always there to catch me" I said annoyed "must be luck I guess" he said

"Yeah dumb luck I highly doubt it happens all the time" I said "you might be surprised" he said I blushed a little bit did my heart just skip a beat

"Are you alright your face is turning pink" he said wait pink I saw my reflection I was turning pink I don't think I can handle this

Merlin's pov: she fainted she must not have expected that I touched her forehead "she doesn't seem to have a fever" I said

But why did her skin turn pink "sorry about this" I said picking her up bridal style and taking her back to the castle where I was greeted by her parents

"Oh she just has a small cold" her father said "huh a cold" I said it seems oddly suspicious if you ask me I thought seeing it as unbelievable

I looked to see her sleeping soundly but why was her skin pink I don't understand it something about this puzzled me

But I smirk knowing I'd have something to tease her about when she gets better this is going to be fun but I've noticed I haven't tried flirting with her

I wonder why I've been so daft lately I can't get her out of my mind it's just unbelievable to me that I can't stop thinking about her

Amber's pov: "that was a close one" I said I got up and changed into my cupid transformation I'm going to say this is the least noticeable

"Well I could help" I heard a voice say I looked and saw a girl with pink hair and a pink outfit on "you have to control your powers without mixing your emotions with them" she said

"Who are you" I asked "my name is Beverly me and my younger sister melody are here for you to teach you how to control your powers" she said

"Hello there" said a voice from behind me she was petting whisper "I see your taking care of the silly fox" she said with a small smile

"He belonged to you" I said "well he is a loyal fox and will try to do anything to set things right especially when it comes to relationships" she said

"Yeah that little fox is so troublesome sometimes though" Beverly said melody glared at her and Beverly was shaking in fear

Melody cleared her throat "the reason why your emotions are so jumbled is because your denying them" she said grabbing my hands

"I should know though I'm from a different fairytale island than you" she said I gasped in shock "I was born without a heart that made it hard for me to fall in love easily" she said

"There was a curse set on me if I managed to fall in love and earned there love in return I would have a beating heart and my curse would be broken" melody said

"I fell in love and got loved in return and started a beautiful family" she said i smiled a bit "don't lose sight of what's important and don't give up on the people you care about" she said

"Well I should get going my husband is going to be wondering where I am" she said as she made a portal swirl out of nowhere and walked through it

I thought about it deeply "well I guess I'll see you later" Beverly said waving her hand goodbye this made me think of a song as well as some broken memories
