(After Harry explains the whole ordeal and Hermione gives a few dramatic gasps.)
Hermione's POV
"So he's been out for the past 2 hours..."
"Yes, that's pretty much it," Harry responded.
But why doesn't he seem to be waking up? How exactly does that work? Why is that Harry seems so concerned that Ron won't wake up? It was a harsh beating but....there's no way it could cause a possible coma. Something doesn't add up.
"Hey Harry, how is it that Ron isn't waking up? Well, you're concerned that he won't be?"
"I...I never thought about anything that way. Hermione, you're a genius!"
I lean back, flattered by the comment but I try my best to play it off.
"Well..it's not like we figured out the cause or anything haha -/////-"
"But you've got us a lead. I can't believe I never noticed. Hold on a moment, I'll be right back."
Author's POV
Harry rushes back into the hospital wing trying to figure out this realisation.
"Madam Pomfrey, is it possible that a spell could have been used on Ron to have him out in such a way that we believe he may not wake up?"
