Author's POV
The pair ran back to the dorms to change clothes so they could run around questioning each suspect more easily. Once Hermione was out of her striking but uncomfortable dress and Harry took off his tight dress gown, they were ready to go. Both witch and wizard met up in the common room swiftly, pulled out their wands knowingly and rushed out of the dorm entrance; the fat lady screaming exasperatedly behind them although they were exiting rather than entering. They felt a mixture of emotions as they searched for their first victim.
Hermione felt angered at the audacity someone should have to put Ron in such a state even though he has already been ruined for something you could hardly blame him for. Harry on the other hand was feeling a rollercoaster. Pride of coming to realisation something may be wrong, anger from disgust of what Malfoy and Patel did as well as worry for Ron who lay in the hospital Wing.
When they reached the Great Hall, they both came to a stall and huffed, throwing their heads back.
"Harry, why are we here again?"
"I don't know Hermione! This is so dumb, we're meant to be finding the suspects, not wandering around like idiots."
"Well of course not you idiot."
"What are we going to use then, if you think your so smart?"
Harry's POV
Why did I say that? She is smart, stupid response from me really.
"Harry...you don't by any chance still....have the map?"
Map? What is she on abou-....o...oh...OH! Thaaaat map. I mean, she did tell me to hand it in, and she refuses to say the name, lets get her to say it as a revenge.
"Map? What map?"
"You know....the thing from last year."
"Sirius? That's my godfather, he's not a map 'mione."
Author's POV
"GOSH DARN IT HARRY! THE MARAUDER'S MAP THE TWINS GAVE YOU OFCOURSE!!" Hermione screeched out in frustration, glaring at Harry.
"I knew that :)" Harry told her, smiling to mock her, proud of his accomplishment.
"Whatever," Hermione spat, rolling her eyes impatiently.
"And to answer your questions, yes I do have it."
"Get it out and take a look then."
"Alright."
Harry pulled the map out of his back pocket, unrolled it, tapped it with his and wand and recited the words he was taught by the twins,
"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."
As expected, the familiar nicknames and ink marks appeared on the parchment. He looked intently at each and every person, attempting to catch to closest suspect. In the hallway he found Miss Norris dangling above a flood of water in his first year, he spotted footprints walking past with Ginny's name labelled on them.
"I've got one!"
"Who?"
"Ginny."
"Harry, are you sure? I mean come on, it's Ginny. Ginny Weasley."
"I know that 'mione but we can't take any chances, okay?"
"Fine, only because it's Ron."
Going left they walked up to the corner and turned it to see Ginny striding swiftly, her face showing extreme stress. Harry opened his mouth to speak before Hermione called,
"...Ginny!"

I haven't updated in a month but whatever. It's 2am and I've got this out from pure boredom. I'm thinking of cancelling the side ship story (not the actual ship) cause I probably can't be asked and if I ever finish this, I'll make a clean version (aka without A/N's).
