Each victim had their own lives, success' and failures, regrets and so on. Would they have known, this year would be the worst of their lives, they would have never stepped foot in Hogwarts. Even with the tournament, the excitement and adrenaline among students, their safety and comfort was more prioritised the them and their parents.
Everybody who had fallen victim to Krum seemed almost dead. Cursed. But what can I say, to be raped...is it not a curse? Did they ever do wrong, were they deserving of such a tragic punishment. But seriously....rape is never the answer to wrong doings, so why did it happen? That question, can be answered.
